That’s a very good choice for an interview. Too many people on boats have never been through Sea School or any other formal training. Unfortunately, most people on the water don’t know what they don’t know.

I would love to see a debate between some who owns a full or nearly full keel heavy displacement cruising boat and someone who owns a lighter, cruiser/racer type. Think Island Packet vs Catalina. Debating the pros and cons of each type of vessel. I think that would be a great topic to have on.

Glad to see you are well. We are presently sailing the Madeira Archipelago, having had an accident where another boat ran into us on the mooring, breaking our Hydrovane, repairing it will take another couple of weeks before heading to Cabo Verde and Brazil.
