Another great video Kathryn - I am going to start recommending your channel on the other gardening channels I watch. I think you produce some of the most educational and informative videos out there and we need to get you more subscribers. I can only imagine how long it must take to produce each video and they are so appreciated by me. You have informed the way I now look at my garden. Just a side note on the sweet pea seeds - one year I collected not quite dry pods and left them on the sunny kitchen windowsill. I then promptly forgot about them until one day while making a cake I heard weird noises and a profusion of sweet pea seeds exploded into my batter lol. Take care - and keep warm :)

Aw I am laughing at your sweet pea pods - I’ve had the same experience! 😂😂😂😂 I thank you so much for your lovely comment- I confess I don’t do the editing- that’s the Scot who is rather good at all that stuff - I on the other hand planted another 100 bulbs today- slowly slowly- and the hedges will cut on Monday with a vintage tractor 🚜- it’s owner likes cake 🍰 - I’ll make it away from the sweet peas 👍🤣

Just had to watch this video twice. It was lovely taking a tour around your garden and listening to your planning ideas and suggestions. You appear to have quite a large garden to work and care for and run a business from. I take my hat off to you for all the hard work that involves. Talking of hats, I have loads of knit hats, which I make for my friends and I. Look for to seeing what hat you are wearing! Can I ask how you picked the name fierce blooms, when all your flowers seem to be feminine and gentle and anything but fierce.

I adore Kathryns hats too! And love seeing the different ones she wears. I could have done with a hat yesterday as I dodged the rain showers to plant the rest of my dahlia tubers in my NZ garden.

Your hats sound perfect! And yes- it’s a half acre garden and an acre of paddock that I’ve started on ☺️☺️ oh the name?! I need to perhaps chat about that - it’s based on a poem by a poet called David Whyte called Self Portrait - it just kept coming up when I was thinking of a name for my business - fierce is the reference he gives in that poem - it’s the last line “I have heard, in that fierce embrace, even the gods speak of god - a bit of an explanation but there you go x
