- "Just another day at the office." Join me for another bank fishing adventure, as I hunt down some early spring catfish, with plenty of tips and techniques along the way. The catfish are starting to move out of their wintering holes and are slowly resuming feeding, after a long, cold winter. As water temps begin to rise during early spring, catfish become more active. Rising water temperatures are just enough to alert the catfish that spring is near! It's always a good idea too prepared a variety of different baits to use. I mean, you never know what the catfish are in a mood to chow down on!

New watcher. I love catfishing. like here in Colorado springs CO and fish at Pueblo reservoir. Bank fishing only. Wife had me sell my boat because of loosing both legs below knees from Diabetes. Got good prosthetic legs but she said no boat fishing anymore by myself. 😢🤬. Oh well stay safe and I'll keep watching.

Was watching an old video & was 🤔 thinking, if you want bigger Catfish use bigger baits on 1 pole. My PB Flathead was caught on 2 pieces of bait(2 whole invasive gobies), because thats all we had left. My buddies use 7" live Bluegills at night on 8/0 Mustad demon hooks. They catch fish that would easily swallow a cut Channel Catfish head. Good luck catching a monster!
