Great video to tell people about this gem in the hills (as if they didn't know lol). I do love Branson for a visit and never do get enough or see everything there is to see. Well done.
Love Branson ! We spent I think 10 days there and saw about 20 shows. Great thing about Branson is they have shows in afternoon and at night. Made for a fun vacation.
I lived in US as a foreign student and a working professional for several years and visited various destinations across various states , but Branson tops that list. I don't recall the name of the restaurant but one of the best Étouffée I had was in Branson. Loved the video .Thanks for sharing.
I LOVE going to The HAYGOODS, Sights and Sounds Theatre, Shepherd Of The Hills, and going up in the Inspiration Tower. My friend and I haven't been to Branson for 10 years, but while there we seen Table Rock Lake, Branson Landing, and Prayer On The Mountains plus theatre shows, Shepherd Of The Hills, and 4 shows at the Sight & Sounds Theatre
I would say Branson isn't dying it's evolving, the older people are getting up there in age where they can no longer travel, and with the big resort and waterpark in Hollister soon opening next year (pending further delays) I think people will continue to come to Taney County, Southwest Missouri and Northern Arkansas for many years to come. And this is coming from somebody who has been visiting Branson mostly on since when I was a baby (and I will soon be 25 at the end of this year)
I agree with you. Branson is changing and must change demographically. Your observation is spot on to me. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.

@ 0:46 is enough to make me say "No thank you" to Branson.
It's a great town. I haven't personally seen the drugs but am not naïve enough to think they're not there. I hope they continue to limited in scope as compared to so many places. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I recommend anyone going to Branson to go see the Haygoods excellent show worth the money my son and I go to Branson every June and we plan on seeing them for the second time
Absolutely right! I've had season passes for the Haygoods for years now and see them multiple times per year. Best show in Branson! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Chris Taylor...Where can I get these biscuits and sausage gravy? I'll give them a try. I will do video on Silver Dollar City but I need better footage so I haven't included it yet. Thanks for watching and keep watching for more. Thanks for the tips!
My fiance and I spent some time in Branson this last Christmas. It was our first time going there. We really enjoyed it but it was extremely expensive almost too expensive. It seems like a place for rich people only. Thinking about staying somewhere else and driving there next time.
I can appreciate that but I feel like there can be ways to do Branson for less. Often times condos are as cheap or cheaper than hotel rooms and show and attraction tickets can often be purchased for half price. We try to eat out no more than once a day when we are there and have sandwich and snack foods at the condo. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment!
@@timspellman47 It will sound like a sales pitch because I rent mine out as a nightly rental through a rental management company but you can look at it and price it at findushere.com/bransoncondo. If you want something different, when you click on the link on the page you will have access to the whole site for dreams2realityvacations.com who manages my condo but many more as well. An important note: if you are planning a trip soon, my condo is currently being renovated after water damage from above but I hope to have it available again in a month or so. Hope this helps. Feel free to reach out with other questions you may have. Thanks!
As a resident of Branson, seeing “behind the curtain”- I know that the city caters to Tourists. We live and breathe to entertain, welcome, and impress others. We are now the favorite vacation destination of some big names. We have many former entertainers and tv personalities just living here and living a great life. I agree, it is not the Branson that many came to love. Me included. I grew up here every summer. I made fringe shirts, leatherworks, and made it rain in SDC square before picking up a hand crafted ice cream sundae candle.I even got married in the little church in Silver Dollar City. I grew up with the smell of tar walkways and fresh made fudge in my heart. I moved here three years ago. It’s not the city of my memories. It is changing. I can’t say for the better but I can’t say for the worse. The changes being made are to bring in a newer crowd. A different demographic. You can’t get married at that church anymore. You can’t hear the story lady under the gazebo. You can’t make those (tacky as they were…..) beaded fringe shirts at the local shirt shop. Things are changing. Branson is all about tourists. I pray that tourists make it clear what they want from Branson and that it is what made Branson so beloved for so long. It’s ok to return to innocence. I think more places should.
Well said and greatly appreciated! Those of you who have lived it and seen the change but still understand what Branson is about are so important to its future. I too experienced so many of the old things but also understand it must change to thrive. As a Branson property owner but only part time resident, I don't always see all the behind the scenes you guys see. Thank you for watching and thank you for comments.
Branson Missouri is going through a ageing out cycle There replacement is aged for the next generation. It's not 🚫 🧐 rocket science 🔭🧪 90% of the original Stars are all gone now they have more Broadway shows that are overpriced in my opinion. We do the Area appreciation for the locals in the spring. Branson is not even close to dieing it's changing up to meet the needs for our future generations coming here! Our family is working on our 4th generation of Branson Visitors and the kids love staying at mom and dads ☺️ In the spring we bring all 16 grandkids down and we pick up a show and go camping or boating or just a short drive to eureka springs It's around $7500 for a family of 4 to stay a week they say on the Branson information site but I'm telling you just decide what you want to do and plan you're time around it. Don't get sucked in to these nasty foreign hotels they have bed bugs! Stay in the Name brand hotels and save money elsewhere lol 😁🇺🇲
I agree with this. Branson is changing but not going away. The number of annual tourists continues to grow each year. Thanks for watching and commenting.

I guess it's all perspective. That not what I see. It is busy but I rent out my condo and it is priced lower than almost anywhere else I travel as are many others that I know. You are correct that many of the original performers are no longer there but that is inevitable. There are a number of very good up and coming performers in Branson today. Thanks for watching and commenting. Everyone's opinion is valued here.
Those are certainly views shared by others and Branson is not everyone's thing. For those of us who spend many days every year in Branson, we find it neither overpriced nor a ripoff. I still appreciate your comment though. People see things differently sometimes!
Some people think so. There certainly is not the same type of music entertainment as there once was but the number of annual visitors is two times what it was in its "prime" at over 10,000,000 last year. The entertainment is certainly more diverse and extends beyond just music but appeals to a wider variety of people and families. It's changing but I don't think dying. Thank you for watching and commenting.
@@Rampage-lo6nr Thank you! I do want the best for the future of Branson. I would love to see the theater scene back where it once was but just don't know if it can happen so a more diverse entertainment scene is probably the way to go. Thanks again for your comments.

Sorry you didn't like it. Some people don't. I've been going there for many years and find plenty to do every time and wonderful places to eat and certainly prefer it to Pigeon Forge but everyone has their preferences. Thanks for watching! Hope you'll give Branson another try!
Your comment is a joke. There is so much to do and great restaurants. I've not seen a bad show yet. I've seen some that are good but probably wouldn't go to again but most we frequent often. I've only eaten at one place I'll never fo to again and that was Starvin Marvin's. Branson is fabulous!
Thanks for watching! Branson and Vegas are such different kinds of places. I've spent a great deal of time in both and enjoy both. I've made my "second home" in Branson because of its more laid back family feel. Vegas has a very edgy, trendy vibe and much more of a party atmosphere that you just won't find in Branson. The golden years of Branson were in the 80s till about 2000. I think it’s gone downhill from there.
I agree back in the days of Box Car Willie Jim Stafford Mickey Gilley and many others it was wonderful but those good ole days are gone now.
The new Branson is Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg in Tennessee
Totally agree
I went with my parents to Branson for 25 years. I love this town. I think the only downfall is the infuse of drugs coming into town from Springfield.
