I just got my cdl 2 months ago I’m a owner operator. I have a Ram 3500 with a 4 car carrier and I have two 9 car carriers I should have got a ez loader instead of the 9 car haulers. It’s so many hydraulics on both of them. And they are older one is a 2001 the other is a 2005. You never considered getting your own truck and own authority ? You are Definitely a pro at car hauling I owned a car dealership before I got into this. Sometimes I want to be with a company so I don’t have to worry about maintenance etc. But the amount of money I can make as owner operator is so much greater and that makes it worth the risk of doing it on my own. I definitely acknowledge and respect your expertise and would love to talk to you sometimes just to get your opinion on some things Be safe out there on the road and keep doing the amazing job that you are doing !
I owned my own equipment for 11 years. I had 3 stingers on the road when I decided to sell out. The main reason is I needed better health insurance for my family. I was paying $24k a year with a $12k deductible for health insurance and that was the best policy offered in Tennessee. That’s why I became a company driver. As for the choice between quick loaders or stackers they both work very well and really once you get good the quick loader really only saves you 10-15min per load so it’s not night and day. But if I had the choice between the two and the quick loader was an 80ft I would choose the quick loader every time lol
I was that team player that picked my loads from the bottom of the barrel. The stuff nobody else wanted but had to go. And much dispatcher knew that. Then when I needed or wanted a particular load going to a particular place he would build it special for me. I suffered through a lot of crap loads, but it helped me in the end.
@@CarcarrierTv I've been driving for a year I'm from Texas got hired down there no car hauling experience yet besides being a tow truck driver for 6 years. Do you think 🤔 it's a place I can clear a 100,000 grand?
@@CarcarrierTv Yeah man that's how I try to operate for sure to do in this car hauling thing. By the way I've run the CX6 trailer a few times our company started to get a few of those in recently a lot of the guys that run them for a little bit start to like them but but some guys go back to their high rails and don't really like them. It's just like anything once you to get used to it it's a much faster trailer to load than the high rail but you cannot stack the cars of course.... Well except for the front 2 in the trailer you can kind of stack those because that deck is independent. But anyway hope you get your truck back soon buddy stay safe.
Yea I’ve now been running it does nearly 2 months at this point I’m thinking this might just be the truck I’m in and they didn’t tell me they switched me lol. But yea it’s not a horrible trailer I just personally like the high rail or quick loader better. I never thought I’d like an 80fter but I really do love that trailer
That’s awesome so pretty much the same way I started out got my cdl and straight to a car hauler. I have all my endorsements but as long as I keep the love for hauling cars I’ll probably never touch any of them
Hey man I been watching almost all your videos it really helped me a lot Im joining a car hauling training in the next 2 weeks, but thanks for the videos you been posting stay safe out there
@@CarcarrierTv I’m a Canadian driver im starting with a company called Moore transport to do Canada&UD runs back and forth , yeah man nothing is hard when you push yourself in to it, I trust my self so I’m sure I’ll learn and nothing would stop me after that, and your videos their helpful info keep it up brother
Love your videos. Sorry I missed the live stream, it was great information. I'm celebrating 10 years w/ urs in April. This is not a job for steering wheel holders. Carhaling is a career not a job.
Just subscribed to your channel soon I’ll be in the car hauling family out of California thanks for giving alot of positive info on here for all new car hauling new comers 👍🏼🙏🏼keep it up
Hey so I’ve reached out to a Recruiter I haven’t done the application yet I wanted to give my company I’m currently driving for a year but what’s the chances of me getting you as a trainer if you train newbies
You just convinced Me to talk to a recruiter on Monday! I'm from Miami, FL so I hope they hire from down here.
They have work down there it will mostly depend on if they have openings. But let me know what they say either way
@@CarcarrierTv Roger That... Can I use You as a referral to the company?
Yes 100% if I’m the reason you came over you can. My name is Matt wihlen or the UA-cam guy they will know who I am through either lol.
@@CarcarrierTv Thanks!

I'm an aspiring car hauler. I've been driving for only 1 year. Love your content!
You have the time if you would like to apply to United. They’ll train you on how to be a car hauler
It is all about you
Be a team player it pays off in the long run
Yes it does it’s one of the reasons I do so well here. One hand washes the other

I hear you there I always do the yea I can run this shit load but take care of me on the next. Normally they find me an amazing back haul
Why did you leave united road
Congrats on getting hired and I left over the forced dispatch system they implemented called central planning

I honestly don’t know lol. Ik I have one on a high rail but idk on the quick loader
@@CarcarrierTv Saul Goodman I'm loaded under height, underweight, and headed for Houston.
