I'm curious who you drive for and how long you've been driving? Those sound like owner operator numbers. You're talking almost a thousand dollars a day for a company driver which is quite unbelievable. Hell I would say that's quite unbelievable for an owner operator for only fifteen days a month. I need to know where this place is at. I'll quit my job today for 12k for half months work! Especially if you are just a company driver!
@Jenzi G If I were you, I'd stay there the rest of my career. If you're really making 12 k a month, that's 144k a year. You're making as much as an owner operator at Reliable. In one week as a three car hauler I make $2600 weekly hauling new cars Mercedes and BMW’s with one broker and with the other broker I make $1300 hauling used cars from dealers to auto auctions
That's exactly what I wanted to know also because those numbers are ultra low if he's an owner operator I know guys making 50,000 grand a month in cdl big rigs I think he must be leased on to a company that would explain a lot

@24hellopeople 1099 you're a contractor. Normally no insurance/benefits. You also pay your own taxes. The interesting thing is an owner op writes off expenses regarding the truck. How do you write off expenses of someone else's equipment? 🤔 Being a "1099 company driver" is technically illegal.
