I have the Matt Tracker G.I. Joe holding the super7 Starscream Megatron gun. Holds it perfectly. Kind of like 3 of my favorite toy lines in figure one!

As a late 70's early 80's kid and being lucky enough to have older brothers that had the original 12" G.I. Joe stuff, wish for obvious reasons i was not permitted to play with, when the 3.75" Joe line came out i went crazy, it was my favorite toy line next to transformers to play with, little did i know then that they where grooming a whole generation to enlist for up coming wars, and a lot of my fellow men, including myself, enlisted because of G.I. Joe and the message of american justice and patriotism, we where kinda like the real G.I. Joes, only to have that youthful innocence and naiveté shattered by being in a real war where you don't get to jump out of a mobad tank or skystriker seconds before it blows up or that you'll die in a heroic and meaningful way and your sacrifice will mean something to the world ... anyway, really enjoy your podcast, thank you... In my area,Marvel's ETERNALS are everywhere!! Stores can't give them away.We have pegs for GI JOE,but asking "when?" gets you dates in 2023.
Also the 90's was heavy with the mutants. Mutant cartoons everywhere.
The big card backs of sgt stalker and snake eyes with tommy would be the coolest
28:30 I just recently found a Crimson Viper at my local gamestop. I really, really love him. I looked and looked but never found the $15 Viper 3-pak at Ross during the holiday season BUT super happy to finally have a Viper in my Classified collection.
Re-watching this show this morning got me so hyped and also got me thinking. Wasn't there a Viper that left Cobra and became a Joe?? I seem to remember that character, he even wore the Viper uniform but with arm sleeves ripped off/rolled up... am I going crazy, this was real dude, a real character right???

lol guys, there is multiple anime series about Bayblade. The tops are a plot device but revolve around the humans that wield them. Like how Excalibur is not as much a movie about a sword but instead Arthur's exploits with said sword.

Wow, don't recall ever hearing of the gi joe 2ups, and I thought I saw "the toys that made us." The alternatives on the wall seem interesting too. I guess they'd scale with the larger super7 Joes being made (think this is the first I've thought of super7 being the *less* expensive alternative).
They didn't really talk about the 2-ups. They were just kind of on a desk during and interview. A lot of people at the time thought they might get released, but the are a byproduct of the original production.
So I LOVE these jumbo Joes but since they didn't do all 13 I'm not specifically collecting them.
I put them off for a long time. Basically a friend offered them too me and in a moment of weakness I said, yeah I'll buy them.
I think the peg was the best option for keeping the characters in the vehicles.... but my Zanzibar did have a peg snapped off in his back😣
I liked the peg option as well.
Want a classified General Hawk. I don’t get the Super7 ultimates but they are doing Doc. Doc would be cool for classifieds but watch them go left field and do Stretcher lol. Serpentor classified be cool with air chariot.

The “Snake-Eyes” movie Night Creeper is honestly awesome for $10!!! Trust me! I skipped the rest of the movie line and skipped the movie too & he’s my favorite character: couldn’t watch them slaughter him. Never will. BUT buy a Night Creeper!!!

Beyblade plot under wraps? I bet it's about arena style battling and a kid has to save the world by winning but first he has to get good fast!
I hope this prompts rights holders to release a complete cartoon DVD set. I'd like to review all of the stories so I can snipe about lore properly.

I really liked the 25th anniversary figs. I stopped collecting during the 25th anniversary and only grabbed the twins, Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow and the 2, 5packs with the theme song Playing logo. I was looking forward to the Walmart retro line because of the similarities now that I'm collecting again. Not really interested in o-ring figs because I've been there and done that. The super 7, 3 1/4 in figures seem like a waste of money. And there's 7 in figures are way too expensive.
