Has anyone received a new board with a small dimple on the bottom/base? The box and cellophane had all the indications of a opened package prior to arrival.
I purchased a BSOD and when it arrived the top left binding hole was clearly bottomed out by something.
The silver metal/insert was scratched and a tiny dimple is protruding from the base(no bigger than the tip of a binding bolt, protruding roughly one full bolt thread’s length).
It doesn’t appear to be separating layers(now/without pressure) and it’s so minimal it would barely affect speed.
It will be fine?
Or
Someone(possibly delivery/packaging was tampered with) intentionally compromised the integrity of the board and it will possibly separate further during use?

Sounds like someone put a screw in it and over tightened it. You’ll be fine.
