Wow! Thank you for encouraging me...I was mandated to sing during this covid, I was almost turning 40 and I felt it was awkward! But since the holy spirit was the lead, I did it anyway, i still have that question, why me and why singing? But I am doing it anyway...I am happy I got to hear this! God bless you

Ten years ago I felt the same way. I was supposed to sing in a band and it was not good! The other members of the band suggested I should not sing and I stopped until 3 years ago. I knew I'm going to sing for the Lord and I didn't care what others will say. I started practicing a lot and now everyone sees the progress. I may not be still the best singer in the world but that's ok as long as I keep getting better! By the way I'm a pianist and what I think is that every instrumentalist should be able to sing good!

Thank you for encouragement. I been told I was supposed to sing even as a child but I never really thought of it. I took a few classes I can sing some but never like the people I admire. Its not that I can't sing better maybe one day better than them God willing. I definitely compare myself to some of the greatest singers I love there voice. I guess I need learn technique and find out my singing voice is. Thank you and God bless and Happy Valentines Day❤❤❤

Don Moen, you are the most influential worship leader in my life and one of the humblest worship leaders in the world today. I became interested in worship after listening to your sings during my teen years. I would play them over and over again in my tape recorder and would learn your songs.
Your humility and the authentic way you speak of yourself is very is inspiring . You have often mentioned that you never aspired to be a singer and that God led you to do what you do now. Your testimony is inspiring and I feel encouraged to know it's never too late to pursue God's purpose for our lives.
