I took a road trip a couple of weeks ago and was listening to this Album. When this song came on I started to cry...I had no idea why. Daniel creates such gripping music, its beyond Beautiful. It rips your heart out and then puts it back together all at the same time. And he keeps you coming back for more. What a gift! 🖤

This is absolutely beautiful...and one of Daniel's most haunting vocals ever, imo. Lyric-wise, I get the sense this song is about his time in Silverchair...and who he is now. He's not hating or regretting what he had...and simply being very honest about who he is now. It's actually a very moving song to me...especially as a Silverchair fan for _so many_ years. I've always found Daniel to be someone exceedingly special...a "dangerous boy" indeed. One of those super rare musicians/songwriters/artists for whom music truly was his religion. To me, this song is a nod to that and how blessed/cursed his life has truly been...and about how Daniel "understands why millions" cannot let go of his previous work, but he's at peace with that. I find much of this album to be deeply moving...especially this song.
