Join me on another visit to Llewellyn lake on the Commonwood complex in Wrexham, i had a rare 36hr session on this occasion.
thought i would try peg 6 this time as i had seen people catch a few from this swim whilst fishing peg 4. Hopefully this time i wont have to wait until the last hour for a decent fish!!!
Commonwood fishery is located in Wexham Wales and has a few lakes on site including a catfish lake and a syndicate lake. There is also a runs water and a few match style pools dotted about and is a well run fishery and is always immaculate when i have visited.

Started this channel as i nearly always fish on my own and filming passes the time away when the fishing is slow, Mostly my fishing is after work until the next morning so filming opportunities are limited but i do my best. I usually fish Lymm Anglers water s with the odd session on other waters.
i usually fish for carp in the summer and Pike in the winter with a few catfish sessions thrown in.

That 24lb Common looked in perfect condition, and quite sleek too. Nice one!
They are mint fish in their with no mouth damage, do you fish their...I've not been since membership went up.as not worth it financially now as live to far away
@@thelymmanglerdangler No, not visited yet - although the wife & I are booked into their catfish lake for a long weekend (wedding anniversary treat) so will probably give Llewellyn a try while there 👍🐟🎣

@@thelymmanglerdangler Oh! Didn't realise that was their members-only lake. I'll probably stick to the catfish lake then, there's carp in there and supposedly the 'big cat' was 64lb last time it came out
You can fish the runs water without membership but not the others, until this year you could do days only on Llewellyn without membership
Let me know how u get on as looking to go on Brecon again this year

Which swims have you fished...need some tips
@@thelymmanglerdangler fished pegs 1,3,4,6 multiple times and only blanked once this year and all only day sessions
Seems to fish better in the day normally...think more the other end though....just fromy limited experience there
@@thelymmanglerdangler yeah I’ve had my best sessions off peg 3 and 4 myself one of my last day sessions on peg 3 was a 18lb 8oz common and a 18lb 10oz common carp
