I had no idea that Billy Ocean was still doing live shows. He still sounds just as amazing as he did in the 80's. I grew up in the 80's as a little kid ,and I loved listening to all of Billy Ocean's songs. I have nothing but amazing memories when I listen to his songs today. If he ever did a show close by where I live, I would definitely go see him. One of the greatest singers ever in my opinion.

This has to be one of the most spectacular bands any singer can hope get in any one gig. So much attention must to have been put in the making of these arrangements for this multi piece big band that it's just unbelievable. I must have to congratulate the producers of this event for this presentation to back up Billy Ocean. This is very well diserved. I simply his amazing voice as he sings his great song Caribbean Queen.

What a clear voice and what a music !!!. In the 80s and before music was made with emotion at a level we do not see anymore. Since the 90s more and more is done by computers and lost the feeling and emotions. Not all, but a lot of todays music is.

For example, a lot of modern hits I’ve heard seem to have a habit of mixing vocals in an odd way, that makes harder/higher notes harsher on the ears. I can’t explain it but the best way I can describe it is “plasticy”, and it really undersells the talent these artists have!

For me one of the greatest Pop songs ever. Witty, funny, danceable... And just nice... And I always liked that this song could become so international just by changing one word in the lyrics, eg from Carribean Queen to European Queen or Asian Queen or American Queen... That's his style and where his warm voice is at best. Phil has a lot of high notes in his songs. Harder to sing them when getting older.

Unfortunately I was born in the late nineties. Therefore, I never grew up with such incredible tunes. Thankfully, UA-cam allows me to "FEEL" the 70s and 80s.
The first time I heard this was in 1987 I was only 15 years old... And I loved it!!!

Takes me back to my teens. This and Suddenly we’re all over the radio. I was and still am a rocker, but Billy Ocean transcended all genres of music. What a legend. That voice!! So happy I found this.
