This is the best solo instruction I've seen. It didn't take you 45 min explaining every step of every note. It was thorough and easy to understand and I didn't get bored and leave
I can't imagine a better teacher. Virtuoso player, clear explanations and above all else the sign of a true musician: feel/hear the song in your head and don't be a slave to the tab. In other words don't worry too much about it being note for note perfect. Although I do appreciate that you show precisely how Angus played it, which is a good starting point for making it one's own.
Great job. It must be so difficult sometimes to not sound condescending when you're at a much more advanced stage yourself. I think you teach very well and come across as very warm and friendly. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing your knowledge ;)
Steve, that was hands down the best instructional video I've ever seen. Not only the intro, the chords, and the lead actually sound like the real thing, but you communicate how to play it extremely well. Thank you.
I'm a beginner and read this is a good beginner song to master. I checked out the other tutorials but yours is by far the best IMHO. It sounds great and you break it down in small enough segments to make it possible for someone like me. You're a very good teacher.
I figured this out by ear and I was playing the correct notes, but YOU do it in a fingering pattern that is TEN TIMES less complicated than I had. THANK YOU!
this is thebest lesson ever! you cover the whole song and you are the only person i know who can teach a solo in an understandable fashion! THANK YOU!!!
I can't put my finger directly on it, but something really makes you an EXCELLENT instructor. You have taught me to play where so many others couldn't. I can never thank you enough!

Seriously, one of the best YT guitar teachers. This helped immensely in my understanding of this song! Definitely subscribed and eager to see more! Thanks Steve!
Really enjoyed this lesson, very nicely done. I learnt it before by ear but there is always something you can get from another interpretation. Excellent style and delivery made it easy to watch and learn. I really like the emphasis you put on getting the "feel" of the song rather than just learning it note for note. Will check out more of your lessons.
Thank you! Thank you and Thank you! You answered every question i had about the song.I watched another instructor do it and he used his thumb(on the low E) to play the C chord in the GCD verse.I wondered why, when it's so much easier your way.I've always played it with bard chords at the 3rd fret but the first position does sound brighter though. Thanks again for clearing up the different ways to play it.You rock Steve!
Steve thanks so much, I have learned more from you in a few months, than I learned in years of self teaching lol, I have been playing solos on my own by ear and I have been all over the fret board and found combos that work with most any song I play what feels good Know what I mean? sort of free style but thanks for all the tips, I listen to people who know what they are doing and you do. You know to teach guitar better than anyone I ever seen very block complete and that is the best way to learn instead of a lot all at once. The strumming part comes natural to me so yes it helps to know in your head how the song goes. Thanks so much and keep doing what you are doing. James from PA>

You nailed the intro. I've seen it taught incorrectly many times.
