This is a beautiful house. It's got age on it, but still nice.
Living in Amityville, I always wondered what it looked like inside. I've been in what ppl call "the horror house". It's beautiful as well. I particularly like the kitchen and stairway. I didn't feel anything in that house.

This house is still for sale? Its been some time. I hear the land taxes in that area are ridiculous so not just anyone can buy it. For those of you saying you would never live here or are scared, this is NOT the former "horror house" made famous in the mid 70s. Id live here in a heartbeat if I could afford it. Seems like a nice quiet little town, with the conveniences of the city about an hour away. I understand there are many trains back and forth everyday . Fun facts: Actress Christina Balfour (Melrose Place/Arnies mom in "Christine") was born in Amityville. KISS played here at a place called The Daisy when they were first starting out, in 1973. : )
Of course land taxes are ridiculous. It’s in NYS in an upscale neighborhood. You buy an acre with a shed on it in NY and your going to pay a tax higher than you would for a 4 bedroom 2 bath in the souther states.
