I've said it before and I'll say it again. This woman is stunning, articulate and commendably proud of being dark-skinned with absolutely no off-key comments about skin lightening or any of that nonsense. Someone should really get her to offer inspirational speaking to young black girls of today who would rather mimic the antics of 'stars' like Beyonce, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and such like who have undergone all sorts of procedures to transform into a more European aesthetic in terms of their looks. THIS is who they should be looking to as a role model and someone to aspire too.

Just to drop a thought about kids. I have an 8 year old. He didnt push me into a "different time in life" at all other than one filled with the things I love. In the last 6 months we have been to Sicily, Florence, Pisa, Luca (Italy), London, Amsterdam, Singapore, Currently in Bali, headed to Greece, Malta, Cyprus and we love it. I definitely think you should have kids when you want to not when others want you to but dont think its going to take your freedom. Thats only if you believe it will! :)

Pat I wanted to share a story with you I hope you see this, so this year I had to decide what uni I wanted to go to however I had to decide whether I wanted to go to a uni with my friends and be comfortable or a different uni on my own and step out of my comfort zone (the uni were I would be on my own I would be studying the subject I was passionate about) so I remembered you saying that you went to uni in Manchester all on your own and I thought to myself if Patricia done it so can I and you turned about to be successful and it didn't kill you lool. So I wanted to say thank you for being inspirational, your personal stories helped me make difficult decisions. Lots of love X
Honestly, you should never go to University just because your friends are going. It's the worst thing to do. You will become a much stronger person, if you break out of your comfort zone. Just some advice. Good luck to you. :)
