Beat me to it, electric can still be hotrodded, I would start with a change in ratio, the electric cart is probably kept slow n steady on purpose, if it has lots of low down torque, then it could turn a higher gear!

@@VasilyYt A 10 second or better turbo civic isn't a reliable daily driver. And who said anything about Tesla? There are people running 7 second electric converted vehicles that don't have a Tesla part on them. To put it into perspective, for about $10k you can get an electric drivetrain that puts out over 600 hp and well over 1000 lb ft of torque. Factor another $10k for batteries, and slot it into whatever cheap or expensive 4 wheeled shitbox your heart desires to be electric and congrats, you have an electric vehicle you can daily drive or take to the drag strip and put your foot down. Electric is not that expensive.

Whats up guys!! I would love to see you guys try to supercharge the cart using one of those smog pumps you mentioned in one of your older videos. I can tell you i have NOT seen anyone do that before and actually see it perform. Im thinking maybe you could add a sprocket to the pump and maybe run it off the drive chain, that way you could possibly change the amount of "boost" with the cam upgrade im thinking it would really wake up that 420. Also, it would be awesome to see some mods to the electric cart, try wiring a couple batts in series to up the voltage the motor can handle it. Not sure about the controller if it's and old mechanical or solid state controller, but i bet an old mechanical speed controller with some upgraded resistors xould handle the load OR more batteries!!! I know that would make alot of people happy to see!! Keep up the good work dudes!
With the 420 golf cart, you're already starting to see that the weak link is the chain between the torque converter output and the transmission input, because even though the ratios are the same, the torque loads are huge on the sprockets and the chain. Over time you'll just round over the teeth on those sprockets. Please look into maxing out the size of the sprockets, keeping them the same size otherwise, so they don't wear out too quickly and you can keep enjoying the 420 golf cart.
Hey guys eventually it's going to get hot out. I think the next accessory you are going to need would be a soft top to keep the sun off of your Noggins. Just use some electrical conduit and a bender make a frame and use some bright yellow vinyl with a big 😊on the top.
Oh man I would *love* an electric monster cart. Get a couple LiPoly packs in there (mind the fire risk) and a big brushless motor... would be epic. Though I suppose GoPowerSports wouldn't really be able to help out - not their wheelhouse.
More to do on the yellow cart hmm got to go with some kinda roof..a radio and I would put back the electric start. And if there is room put the reverse gearbox from puglie..
Two things you can try with the electric golf cart. 1) Shunt mod it. This will allow more amps through aka more torque. Although it might burst the mosfets in the controller. But it's a free torque boost if you don't go nuts. 2) Overvolt. If you open the controller to shunt mod it, have a look at the capacitor voltages (written on the side of the caps) and find out what mosfets it uses, search for their datasheet. If it's specced for a higher voltage too, throw in a couple more batteries in series ;)
Another idea for you guys, i see alot of people asking about the electric start, id you decided to do that, then you could easily install an electric reverse!! A simple 12 volt motor, maybe a starter?? Possibly add another gear to the diff and a one way bearing? I know you guys can figure it out!
Depending on the model of golf cart, you can get a plug that increases the top speed of electric golf carts. Might want to look into that and re compare.
The electric kart can be made as faster or much faster but it will cost quite a bit more. Lithium Ion batteries in a higher voltage configuration along with a better less limiting controller and possibly a better motor would make it a beast. You could probably safely use it's current motor and battery with a new controller to make it much faster.
