  • In many applications, measurements are limited by the vertical resolution of the scope’s front-end. Compared to a 8-bit oscilloscope, the 12-bit SIGLENT HD delivers 16 times greater dynamic range, from 256:1 to 4096:1.
SIGLENT SDS2000X HD oscilloscopes are available in 100, 200, and 350 MHz bandwidths. The series features SIGLENTS new 12-bit A to D converter that provides up to 2 GSa/s sample rate coupled with a deep memory of 200 Mpts/ch.

I like Siglent's UI, looks professional not cyberpunk like UI in Rigols

At 12-bit high-resolution mode, what is the maximum supported sampling rate per channel? And what is its ENOB? Thank you very much.

Dear Krish, this is no high-res mode - this is a real Hardware 12-bit ADC. Therefore you have up to 2 GS/s (max ) and 1GS/s (min). 2 Ch. share one ADC.

So, basically 2000X Plus with 12 bit and twice lower AWG.

The SDS2X HD and SDS2X Plus are similar digital platforms, identical GUIs, but the HD has better spec's.

Can this tool measure all waveforms of a pulse generator (wide range), not just 0 and 1 Decoding ?

Thank you for writing. The HD is an oscilloscope, which means it is a time domain instrument designed to measure and display voltage vs. time with high vertical resolution (12-bits).
It can certainly show many aspects of a waveform.. much more detail than "0"'s or "1"s.
Scopes can measure rise time, duration, jitter, and many other characteristics.
There are limits to the measurement capabilities, however. It is best to know the maximum bandwidth of your signal, amplitude, and type of signal (AM, FM, Pulse, communications, etc.) before you select a scope so that you pick the best tool for your application.
You can write info@siglent.com for more information.
