I remember seeing her in Bewitched just after my father died, I think around 1970 in the UK. She made me laugh in a time which, otherwise, was full of heartache. Thank you, Elizabeth, for the lightening of a heavy load, your wit, your wonderful expressions, your comical timing. I will remember you always.
I remember watching Bewitched when I was like 3 years old, and being fascinated by it. I know that's young, but it's one of my earliest memories. I grew up watching the re-runs, during the summertime, and when I would stay home sick from school and watch it.
What a beautiful person Elizabeth Montgomery was inside and out!!! I've grown up with her my whole life and my children and my grandchildren have also!!! It's so wonderful to be able to share one of the best actresses of all time with 4 generations (my Mom included)!!! Thank you so very much, Elizabeth Montgomery, for helping to make my childhood a magical time!!! Judy Gregg I feel exactly the same way! She is just a part of our lives and collective conscience! I too grew up with Bewitched! I saw her as a mother figure! She is soooooooo missed but never forgotten. Thank God for Utube and DVDs!!!! She will "live" on forever! May your sweet soul continue to rest in peace Elizabeth.❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yes. I know! To think that the only ones that are left now are "Dr. Bombay" and the 2 actors that played Tabitha and Adam. (Erin Murphy and Matthew Lawence) We at least they'll live forever on Utube and DVDS and most importantly in our hearts and minds.
I totally agree with you, Anita!!! I'm sooo glad that reruns are being shown now and so glad we have it on DVDs!!! I think I have all seasons on DVD!!! I was watching an episode with "Aunt Clara" the other day and I was just in awe at what an amazing actress she was!!!!!!
Yes! She was a bit of a ditz but that's what made her so loveable! My favorite episode with her is "There's no witch like an old witch." (Season 2) As I've said before, I have the entire series on DVD and I can honestly say I never get tired of watching it! I could watch the same episode over and over again and still laugh! I even record the episodes that come on weekday afternoons from 3-4pm. I would watch it 24/7 if I could!!! Bewitched forever!!!!!!
Wasn’t there a bit of a political switch in the mid-60s where the Republicans who had been very progressive suddenly began to court the southern vote. Prior to that Democrats were the ones that were fairly regressive so really this Democrat Republican rivalry has taken a a twists since then
I didn't like that she was a liberal but despite that I enjoyed her as an actress and as a person. I don't share the same political beliefs as she did but she was a genuinely good person and a great actress. She will always be Samantha to me. She is truly missed. 😢

She was a great comical and dramatic actress. she was great in Lizzie Borden. and on Bewitched, loved her as she portrayed Serena. so funny.
