most of hair tutorials heavily rely on bobby pins to hold the hair. my hair is thick, heavy and i ave A LOT of it. i'd not only need a million pins,but it also wouldn't last more than 3-4 hours... When i go out, i tend to stay out for 6+ hours (especially because of transportation) and school days are from 8 to 14 hours outside (no way any cute hairstyle can stay tame for that long). Isn't there a fool proof way? some sort if way to keep a hairstyle for many hours? I always feel like Cinderella when im with a nice hairstyle, paranoid for when the time will come for everything to fall apart :(
get the Simple Styles Spin Pin by Goody! it does the work of 20 bobby pins. I have waist length, super thick hair and I can hold a bun all day with two of them :)

Top buns gives me headaches, however I love side buns, braids, and the tutorial i just watched are just what I'm looking for. You're so talented.
Music was so soothing and relaxing, a little too relaxing. Your up do, very nice. Perfect for a summers day outing. Either the beach, or date night. I tried it and my hair was not exactly dry so before hand I used mouse and gel and loved the wavey curls it gave me. My husband said I had sexy hair. Thank you.
I tried this and it really looks awful if you have thick hair, it's just impossible to make it look nice at all and hair grips/bobby pins are way too small to keep any of it in place... So frustrating because there are so many amazing hairstyles on this channel and on youtube and because of my thick hair I'll never be able to do/have them ... Oh come on can you braid hair? YES then you can put it up! Nobody on the planet has thicker hair than a black woman with hair past her shoulders, NO ONE! And if we can do this hair style so can you! Just use smaller parts of hair with ties for the ponytail pull it under and use lots hair spray and about 15 to 20 pins per flower big deal. It should take about 20 mins but you can get it done.You non-black girls are so lazy about doing ANY style that actually takes more than 2 mins to do LOL.

My photo shows my mane when it's been tamed down & fried with a flat iron but it's naturally really thick, wavy, & frizzy. If you have this hair type like mine & your hair gets really puffy when you do twists like this try incorporating the Bohemian Twist instead of the regular twist. It will give the twists in your hair more support & the rope braid is already at the end so they sort of go hand in hand because they blend so well together. This helps me when doing this style.
