I'm the same as you with adjustables. When I find the right setting, I usually stick with it for the entire shave. My daily driver is the Rockwell 6S using the R4 plate. Sometimes I will flip to the R2 side on the 3rd pass above my lip. That takes about 10 seconds. I have the Parker SoloEdge in the mail. I'm curious to see how it compares with the 6S.

I have a 6S as well and use on 5 plate for my 4 days a week shave. Would probably like the 4 plate for every day shaving. I just got the Solo razor and will do a video soon on that.
