      Agreed, this guy clearly needs to do a deeper dive on what exactly is being taken out of your water with a refiner system. Just the chlorine content alone should be enough to scare people. I can tell you that after learning the process that is used by cities to treat our water, I’ll never use straight tap water for anything other than washing my car maybe!

      He’s not talking about that, idk why you guys are thinking this. When you have RO water it’s less than 10ppm almost pure hydrogen/oxygen like distilled water. Trace minerals and electrolytes are gone. You need to add them back…. Of course the whole point or filtering and RO is to remove bad stuff.Duuuhhhh and of course it will be smoother than bad quality water bc it’s pure but if you add electrolytes like he said it will be smoother.

    I just want to clarify that if you buy a RO machine like the Osmio Zero, they come or should come with a mineral cartridge after it goes through the filtering proccess replacing all the minerals lost from the tap water, tastes amazing, should be replaced every 6 months. One of the strange things that used to happen to me when drinking tap water besides feeling like crap, was my lips were always dry and cracking even when hydrated, now since using the Osmio Zero for a year and a half my lips have never felt and looked better, never cracked since using it.

    I started using reverse osmosis water. I remember 3 years ago I bought 1 gallon waters in truckstop the flavor was terrible, tasted very toxic. I thought I won't survive 2 years drinking this water. After two years I felt more sick. I started using "zero water" filters that contain resin. They are OK, but decided to go reverse osmosis. I'm using it two days already,buying 1 gallon water and processing through reverse osmosis (50clean/50dirty). I noticed my mind became clearer. It's like cloudiness began to disappear. And it's only been two days.So clearly there is something in that water that effects my mind. Getting rid of that toxin helps to clar up brain. I'll continue using.

    I’m always trying to scientifically understand almost anything new to me.
    Wife and I started looking into RÕ water and finally bought a countertop system.
    Our tap water in Charlotte sits around 100TDS (the hardness level)
    And drinking the RO water (5TDS) was noticeably “smoother”.
    We usually use tap water when swishing while brushing teeth, decided to use the RO water and even THAT felt smooth.
    Our mouths didn’t have a certain acidic, dry-feeling afterwards.

    • @stringbender3
      @stringbender3 10 місяців тому

      You can remineraloze it with magnesium and calcium like he said and it will be still smooth if not smoother. Under 10ppm water isn’t good to drink you need trace minerals and electrolytes added back after filtering out all the bullshit

      @@garouthetiktokinfluencerhu9731 I get RO water that also goes through 12 filters. From “water hut” in my town. It’s cheaper than bottled water. But RO water is under 10ppm. It will deplete you of electrolytes and minerals. So you gotta add them back. Get the PPM back up. Most ppl seem to be still half confused. Talking about how they think it’s smoother and less acidic and whatnot. No shit. It’s called soft water. And it’s alkaline. At least mine is that get. And they also think it’s “smoother” but like Andrew said, if you have calcium and magnesium electrolytes it will actually taste smoother and better quench your thirst bc that’s what your body needs.

      I would argue yes it is. I think it is simple to see that if we drink inorganic minerals, our body cannot process them as easily as organic minerals. I would recommend distilled or reverse osmosis as best waters in residential setting

    • @chrisyeo6706
      @chrisyeo6706 Рік тому

      @@posivibe989 For the record all minerals are inorganic, including the electrolytes that our body needs to operate. The notion that our body cannot process them is nonsense, thats what the entire function of our GI tract is for. Take sodium for example which is our most abundant micronutrient consumed, the FDA guidelines recommend 2,300mg of the stuff a day. If anything your body would have a much harder time digesting foods that are processed or high in carbs (Alcohol fitting both those categoreis).

    • @posivibe989
      @posivibe989 Рік тому

      @@chrisyeo6706 respectfully, all minerals being inorganic is halfway true. Plants convert the inorganic minerals into organic so our bodies can assimilate them better. I didn’t say they can’t be, but an overload of too many inorganic minerals causes mineral deposits to sit in our bodies and affect absorption. While the majority of sodium in our blood is inorganic, the electrolytes are primarily organic and work in combination. That is why I think the evidence points to drinking RO and distilled water is best and mineral absorption is truly at its best from plants.

    He’s talking about RO water that’s less than 10ppm and then regular water that’s usually a round 100-300ppm. Drinking much water under 10ppm water isn’t a good idea. We need a whole lot more than pure hydrogen/oxygen and if you drink a lot your depleting yourself of minerals and nutrition.
    The RO/filtered water will be smoother than tap or shitty bottled water bc it’s clean but you want to add trace minerals and electrolytes back. Like he said calcium and magnesium will make it actually taste smoother bc that’s what we need.
    PPL are thinking water with no minerals or electrolytes are giving them a boost bc it taste better is what he said.

      @@erenjeager5290 That’s just filtered water removed all the bad stuff which leaves it at under 10ppm which isn’t enough you need electrolytes and trace minerals. They are cheap you can buy in concentrate. Calcium doesn’t dissolve so that one I take as suppliment bc it just sits at the bottom of the water. You can get all your calcium simply from egg shells. Free calcium suppliment.

    Yeah literally not true maybe the studies or whatever are correct but I can definitely tell the difference in taste between filtered and unfiltered tap water. Peak “Some guy said it on the internet so it must be true”

    I haven’t need anti acids not once since I started it. I had a hole in my stomach and surgery twice. That healed in less than a month. I was on prescription level anti acids the last 25 years of my life and no longer. My knees stopped popping, headaches gone. I don’t need to think twice about alkaline water. Our ancestors had much cleaner sources of water without flouride. People and doctors believe that what comes out our tap is natural. That shit is as far away from nature as you can get. Sorry Doc I know from personal experience your just wrong this one time, hopefully your not a narcissist and you can deal with that.

      RO water is acidic. You're not drinking alkaline water if you're using an RO system unless you are adding calcium carbonate and magnesium back into it after filtering.
