Literally when a SAM or Air to Air missile locks onto a fighter jet. Fighter jets literally have an RWR (radar warning receiver) that plays an annoying tone in the cockpit over and over to let the pilot know they are being targeted by a radar missile.

And most people and politicians in Taiwan… don’t claim all of China. Maybe some do, but these are unusual. Most Taiwanese people and most Taiwanese politicians are happy to just have the island of Taiwan.
The problem is, if Taiwan says “we don’t claim all of China”, China will attack Taiwan. This sounds like the opposite of what China would do, but think about it. If Taiwan says “we aren’t in control of the mainland”, then they are of course saying that they decide their own borders. This is a thing only an independent country can say. To give up a claim on the mainland is to acknowledge that they have the rights to it in the first place.
