@@Ahmvd1 thanks man! Yeah I understand even something like fiat 500 abarth would be much cheaper to run. I'm just in a weird spot, I'm lucky that I don't really need a car, and if I would buy one to use on the weekends then I guess you want something nice to enjoy :)
@@kingart23 yeah definitely, and always remember that fun doesn’t just come with a performance car, you can buy a car worth a few thousand and still have a lot of fun with it! I’ve actually got a video coming soon too that shows one of those example
Did you buy it outright or finance? Either way you should also include the interest you pay on your finance, or the interest you would have gained if the cash you bought it outright with was invested in a stocks and shares ISA etc. After two years and 24,000 miles you're also close to needing, if not already overdue, a second set of tyres all round.
Nor me tbh I didn’t think it would make much difference but when you pass your Hgv test your classed as a professional driver even if you never wanted to drive Hgv you’d get your money back in your life time of driving just having that on your licence
This is a reality check for someone like me, who doesn't have a drivers license but is thinking, 'can I afford to own a car?' :D
you can't compare owning a performance car to owning a normal car which is much more affordable
don't let it put you off, there are much more affordable options!

bought outright, for 22k. The tyre change was luckily quite some time into ownership, so still got a fair bit of life left in them
Yes mate what was the car cost / finance ?
Car cost was 22k
bro really thinks £1.9k insurance is bad, i paid 2.5k for a 2L diesel,
that's rough!
4:15 🍑
Insurance for me £4800 for the year. England
Is a joke for car insurance.
I passed my class 1 Hgv test my insurance went from 1300 to 350 a year
that's crazy, didn't think it'd make that big of a difference!
