Halfway through the game now and I can say it’s one of the most beautiful gaming experiences I’ve ever had. Coming from a crazy Chrono Cross fan. The characters are extremely charismatic and with great lines, the music is incredible and the visuals are a show on their own, with detailed environments and funny micro expressions every now and then. Thank you so much for putting out this masterpiece. It’ll surely go to my top 5 games ever played.

The game is so awesome so far! But I didn’t understand the point of this opening animation.
@@andersc6593 The opening animation looked like an abridged version of how John came to find Sam, but I think it's a combination of what happened before the game story starts and what will yet happen.
It was definitely very impressive!

I preordered this game and set an alarm for 12am, woke up and started playing it and so far I absolutely love it!!
Is it “hard” to play? I have terrible motor skills and hand eye coordination.

I’m in new dam city and I’ve been loving it the whole way so far! Love talking to all the npcs and exploring the towns and cities! Art and music both phenomenal

edit : also I hope you guys have plan to expand this game somehow in the future (although I dunno how the ending will turn out yet) feels like this game has more potential because the pixel graphic artsyle is gorgeous and mesmerizing
seriously though this game is a masterpiece. There are cool nods to games like Secret of Mana, Earthbound and Chrono Trigger. The characters are memorable and full of life. I also find myself just listening to the music.
Inmost, and now this game. You devs never disappoint. Good job as always, Chucklefish.

Congrats on the launch. Bought the game and played through the first. In love with the art, music and overall feel of everything so far!
The melody in this trailer is golden, it goes with some of the most epic RPG moments in game. I loved the whole journey - completed it yesterday, couldn't let go of the pad so I ended up playing 2 massive sessions. Once again a game well selected !
Just finished the game today for the first time and got all the achievements too.
This game was such an experience. I’m at a loss for words on how beautiful and cared for this game is.
I hope this game gets its chance to shine soon. It needs to be played by everyone!

My biggest disappointment with this game is that I don't have a physical copy... So I'm ordering it from Japan in November.
Other than that, this game has been amazing so far.

We have actually announced that a global physical version is in the works (there's even an iam8bit teaser at the end of this very trailer!) however it's still a little while off, so we'll be sharing more information when we have it. A lot of time & love goes into making physical products, so we hope you'll be pleased with either the Japanese or EU/US version :)

Honestly, it doesn't really matter where the devs come from. This game seemed like more of a passion project and it hits so many marks that many of us in this genre have been looking for for decades now. If a game is good, it's good.

I don't think I'd enjoy the game play but the sheer amount of love and care I can tell has been put into the world building, art, music and probably story makes me want to get it anyway.
