I remember watching this over and over when I was a kid, my mum got so tired of it that she tried to hide it away but I found it and just kept watching it over and over.
I feel so old reading all you youngsters' comments, and I'm 25! This movie was a joy to watch, especially for budding fantasy fanboys (like myself), Kayley's naive but brave spunk, Garret's cynicism and blunt attitude, and the 4th-wall-breaking antics of Devon & Cornwall; this was a -FUN- movie, I don't see why anyone needs to criticize it. Just accept it for what it is: a fantasy romantic adventure about accepting yourself and striving to do your best.
I haven't seen this but I want too. I am just happy to see they have a hero with a disability. I teach special needs and to have someone blind in a children's movie is awesome.
man it was such an awesome experience watching these previews on vhs. i want it back. i miss my childhood so much :(. and also this movie was so awesome. 90s kids had the best childhood ever!!!
What blows my mind is that this film flopped budget was 40 million earning was 38.- - million. I have seen much worse and not to mention the cast and the music!!! Omg it was perfect 👌 so not a failure I still have my original vhs 📼
Seeing how Jaleel White and Bronson Pinchot were in this, I think this movie is the closest we’ll get to an Urkel/Balki crossover, as we never got to see the 2 characters meet on Family Matters.
Cast Kiara-San Neva Campbell Misaki-kun Kevin Hert Varian Jeremy Jordan Shinobu Ben Stiller Hiroki-San Danny Devito Once-ler Young Ed Helms Violet Parr Mandy Moore
I watched the movie for the first time, some hours ago. It was good. I remember, in 1998, there was a Chewing Gum of Argentina called "Bazooka" which it had Foil Figurines to collect in a figurine Album. Or maybe it was another Candy, but I'm sure it was about the movie.
Announcer: Featuring the voices of Cary Ewles, Gary Oldman, Eric Idle, Don Rickles, Jane Seymour, Pierce Brosnan, Bronson Pinchot, Jaleel White, Gabriel Byrne and John Gielgud
And to think I wanted to be Garret. Without the blindness of course. It wasn't till years that he was blind since I was only 7 around the time this movie came out.
Man I just adore this film!! I wish I can find the DVD or the film on UA-cam cause I have the movie but it's in VHS and I don't have a VHS player :/ it's sad seeing it just sitting there on my desk. It's tempting me to watch it but I can't!!!
It wasn't great but it wasn't terrible better than all these cheesy animated movies today it had so much potential it really needs to be remade into a live movie.
Their are things that arnt really explaned. 1: Why did the chicken Changed from good to evil (proberly got pissed off by the villian) 2: why putting Excalabar sword back in, and Healed everyone. and it did heal everyone that's Amazing its like the worlds first healing sword, and if it did head everyone WHY DIDNT IT HEAL GARRETS BLINDLESS. those arent explanedable.
I remembered this movie when I saw one of the most obvious fuck ups in animated movie history. The dragon with two heads? If you watch, in one seen the heads switch sides. Its fucking hilarious.

@Michael Taylor "We can't fly! (We said that before our song)"
Addressing the audience is a clear 4th-wall break
@Michael Taylor "Houston, we have a PROOOBLEEMM!!!!"
-_-
I also enjoy it, I like the dragons, I own the DVD
One of my favorite childhood movies
I loved this movie when I was little, it was my favorite.
Most underrated movie ever
Are you sure about that?
This film is definitely a diamond in the rough.
I used to have this on VHS and it was my favourite film. I feel bad that I forgot about it.
I wish they would release this film on blu-ray.......so many great animated films that dont get the HD treatment, its pretty unfair
Kyle Edgecomb I agree with ya
Same here. This film definitely needs a HD remaster for a blu-ray release.
I have the movie on Netflix, but the Warner Bros. Television logo plasters the [Warner Bros.] Family Entertainment logo.
This greatest movie should come back to theatres this coming May as the 20th anniversary
I haven't seen this but I want too. I am just happy to see they have a hero with a disability. I teach special needs and to have someone blind in a children's movie is awesome.
just took a trip down memory lane. i must have watched this movie like 20 times as a kid
Eyy this movie came out the same year that I was born! This was one of my favorite movies as a kid!
Brandon Bartlett Enarson cool. This movie came out when I was one year old
man it was such an awesome experience watching these previews on vhs. i want it back. i miss my childhood so much :(. and also this movie was so awesome. 90s kids had the best childhood ever!!!
The songs were the best part of the movie
I relate to "I Stand Alone" so much
The world will never understand us loners
i also like this song
What blows my mind is that this film flopped budget was 40 million earning was 38.- - million. I have seen much worse and not to mention the cast and the music!!! Omg it was perfect 👌 so not a failure I still have my original vhs 📼
RIP Don Rickles, you will always be remembered as Cornwall and Mr. Potato Head. :(
RIP, Don Rickles (1926-2017). :'(
the girl looks like belle
Garret looks like Beast in human form
Nostalgia critic thought the same thing
I haven't seen Quest for Camelot yet, this trailer was on the Batman & Robin VHS.
This movie came out the year I was born. it was one of the first movies I ever remember watching. Damn I miss the good old days
1:54
Kayley: Camelot...
Narrator: QUEST for Camelot. Get it right.
The tapestry in Brave was magical and it represented the bond between mother and daughter.
lauren faust she was in that movie as the animator. And she was working and drawing on the 2 movies in cats do not dance and Iron Giant.
holy.... I can't believe it! This is one of my favorite movies, and it ce out on my birthday! Not kidding, I was born that exact day! :D
I can't believe I forgot what a great adventure this film was! Must be because I'm finally getting back into Disney films again.
Well, May 15th 2020 is the 22nd anniversary of the release of Quest for Camelot.
TP Percival May 15, 2018 was the 20th anniversary. A month after my 21st birthday; April 2, 2018
@@stefanmovieflixtomasi I am aware of that. Also, did you know that SCOOB! was also released on May 15 this year?
TP Percival yes I did. I’ve seen so many trivia facts not just release date
I still think it holds up. You're not the only one.
i watched this movie when i was 8, now i m 21. brings back memories , awesome movie
holy shit this movie came out when i was 3 no wonder i never herd of it before.
Happy 20th Anniversary Quest for Camelot
My favorite movie!OMG I AM CRYING , ITS SO NOSTALGIC.
still a better love story than twilight
Isn’t EVERY love story better than Twilight?
I first found this trailer on the opening of the 1997 VHS of Batman And Robin. P.S. Am I the only one who thought that movie was awesome?
I was here for different reason but RIP Don RICKLES
It's been out for years, you should buy it, it's a gem.
this was my first "favorite" movie, i believe. i remember the sensual music a lot.
still better than frozen
Every animated in history even if sucks is better than frozen
Frozen is MUCH better, would rather see the original PG 13 script for this.
Frozen horrible as fuck
Yeah greatest movie since the pagemaster
Both movies are terrible.
been years since ive seen this. ill have to watch it again sometime
I don't understand why everyone hates on this movie. It's one of my favorites.
When people like to make good movies !!!
No other Camelot Animated Film is better than "The Sword in the Stone."
Seeing how Jaleel White and Bronson Pinchot were in this, I think this movie is the closest we’ll get to an Urkel/Balki crossover, as we never got to see the 2 characters meet on Family Matters.
I can't really tell if that's Hal Douglas who did the voice-over.
It's from Warner Bros. This Film is Just SIMILAR to A Normal EveryYear Disney Film.
Even though the movie itself may not be at all that good, still, you gotta admit that the animation is just absolutely BEAUTIFUL.
Now that I finally see when it came out... The year I was born xD LOVE THE MOVIE SO MUCH
Warner Brothers Please Re-Mastered This Film into Blu-Ray HD
Alejandro Caudillo 👍👍
OMG! this was my favorite move!
This was my childhood X3
Lol MLP & PPG fan here. Didn't know Lauren Faust was involved in this, just googled it. Interesting.
Cast
Kiara-San Neva Campbell
Misaki-kun Kevin Hert Varian Jeremy Jordan
Shinobu Ben Stiller
Hiroki-San Danny Devito
Once-ler Young Ed Helms

that dragon must have been the inspiration behind the dragons in the disneymovie about Hercules...
I wish I lived in Cameolot!
Taken From The Power Authority 1990 1998 Widescreen VHS
(C) 1990 Warner Bros. Entertainment & Klasky Csupo Inc.
(C) 1998 Warner Home Video
No dude, I feel the same way you do, but just because you like SOMETHING everyone hates isn't Wong.
Back in the late 90s when every other animation company was trying to be Disney.
I watched the movie for the first time, some hours ago. It was good. I remember, in 1998, there was a Chewing Gum of Argentina called "Bazooka" which it had Foil Figurines to collect in a figurine Album. Or maybe it was another Candy, but I'm sure it was about the movie.
I sooooo vaguely remember this
Rip Don Rickles 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Announcer: Featuring the voices of Cary Ewles, Gary Oldman, Eric Idle, Don Rickles, Jane Seymour, Pierce Brosnan, Bronson Pinchot, Jaleel White, Gabriel Byrne and John Gielgud
came here from Nostalgia Critic.
Loved this movie.
Nastalgia. Remember the trailer but hardly the movie lol. Anyone else?
Shelby Batman and Robin
Wow, I recalled this film once I saw the super model villain.
I never heard of this movie before. I guess it's because i'm in the new generation. I want to watch it! :D
Aaaaah, before watching Batman and Robin
I love this movie, I've been watching forever and ever, I think I still have a mental crush on Garret!
And to think I wanted to be Garret. Without the blindness of course. It wasn't till years that he was blind since I was only 7 around the time this movie came out.
Because he no longer felt his blindness was a disease, and so there was nothing to cure.
It's Fantaghiro, There is a series of television films and an animated series
Man I just adore this film!! I wish I can find the DVD or the film on UA-cam cause I have the movie but it's in VHS and I don't have a VHS player :/ it's sad seeing it just sitting there on my desk. It's tempting me to watch it but I can't!!!
Taken From The Little Mermaid 1997 Re-Release Anastasia Flubber Home Alone 3 And MouseHunt 1997 AMC Theaters
the style looks like disney well almost
Carlos Elias Carranza Mendoza or Fox Family Entertainment
I was named after this movie.
+KayleyCummings You were named "Quest for Camelot"?
Cami for short
Really?
This trailer was attached to Wild America and Free Willy 3 the rescue back in 1997
my childhood...
king arthur sounds like james bond
That's because, Pierce Brosnan, an actor of 007 agent James Bond, voiced King Arthur in "Quest for Camelot".
+Thomas Percival oh nice for a second there i really thought he was voiced by brosnan
This trailer looks like an english teacher outlining archetypes
I used to know all the lines by heart when I was a kid
i nice trailer, and also good movie. musics also good
Thanks a mil, I'll look that up. :)
and... Kayley falls for the blind guy. how ironic is that?!
I been looking for the same movie as below.
It wasn't great but it wasn't terrible better than all these cheesy animated movies today it had so much potential it really needs to be remade into a live movie.
You can buy dirt cheap on Amazon.
Do you think, they’ll be crossover Cartoons: Supernoobs vs. Quest for Camelot
Ok I really need to see this movie but I can't find it anywhere :(
It's all magic and wonder.
I remember this movie. It was my favorite because the girl had the same name as me (though spelled differently) and I pretended to be her :3
Oh, Childhood......
Their are things that arnt really explaned.
1: Why did the chicken Changed from good to evil (proberly got pissed off by the villian)
2: why putting Excalabar sword back in, and Healed everyone. and it did heal everyone that's Amazing its like the worlds first healing sword, and if it did head everyone WHY DIDNT IT HEAL GARRETS BLINDLESS.
those arent explanedable.
This was made before I was born, it must suck then! I really think that Kayla's voice just to Girly for her
a shame, the movie was ok, but it had so so much potential! it seemed like the whole story was hurried to the end..
That, my friend, is the reason why there shouldn't be any executive meddling in an animated feature at ALL.
I'm pretty sure it's Fantaghiro. There is a live action tv movie and an animated one,
1:58 devon : when we get to camelot will be kissed by the worlds most beautiful woman
cornwall : right we'll have to beat them up with a stick
Had the biggest crush on Garrett! :)
I remembered this movie when I saw one of the most obvious fuck ups in animated movie history. The dragon with two heads? If you watch, in one seen the heads switch sides. Its fucking hilarious.
It's not just me that thinks Garrett look like gambit from x-men and acts like Iggy from maximum ride right? RIGHT?!
A great Disney movie. At least I think it's great.
Thanks a mil I look that up :)
Anyone else realise the dragon was Eric Idol?
and Merlin lol
shanemerrigan1994 Not what it says on IMDB
Liam Henderson Sorry I was actually referring to his role in Shrek The Third
shanemerrigan1994 righto
I'm more surprised that Don Rickles was the other
