good info and videography....reminded me of when I'd go to the watch maker and he'd answer the phone and change batteries as other customers came in..... as Im waiting for the good, or bad, news about my expensive (inherited) watch repair! Greetings! Thank you for such an excellent tutorial. I have an ipad mini that is acting up. Hoping you might have the time to assist me in a troubleshoot. I am a mom who has replaced my own LCD and digitizer as well as many others for friends many times with success. I do this because I live in a very remote place with no access to a repair shop and children and friends who damage their ipad too many times before I got smart and applied tempered glass! But this old ipad has a new digitizer and LCD, and the FPC connector under microscope looks perfect. What else can I try? The ipad turns on but wont charge past 13% and screen is very glitchy and not consistently touch responsive. I'd like to use this ipad for my personal use as I am a live looping musician student. Iv even switched out the battery for another used one to see if it helped, but no. If you would be able to even just point me to one of your vids that might help me that would be wonderful. Or possibly a quote to send it to you to fix it for me!
Or should I call your shop and chat about it? I can do that too!

I'm working on an ipad mini and the person botch the job up. my question to you is do you know where I can get a component diagram or can you help me with the 2 components I'm missing what their value is and package size? The components are right by the FPC digitizer 2 cap i think this might be (size 0402) and the 7th cap (size 0603).
Can you post the items you used in this video..? Flux, Solder, Solder Gun?
how much degree did u heat the heat gun up? to not damage the new socket or move another capacitor?

I took my mini iPod to a shop for a screen replacement and when I got it the touch work but later , it couldn’t get it to stay in one place it move all over . It is the same fix I need help ???

The iPad Pro 12.9 I’m on now has issues with. Touch screen. Mainly with. Grrr Took. 5 min. To type this Sometimes hear and see button clicks but nothing types.

Hello Northridgefix i'm training to be a IT tech and do this kind of work on mobile devices and more on the future just wondering so you used liquid flux to remove the fpc connector? and what do you used to clean it a Qtip with water? or something else?
Water? Don’t put water on electric devices. Clean with alcohol my friend never water 🇬🇧
