about Flux - i'm fixing electronics for years and i've tried a lot of flux types. I found one, which I love to use for reballing/reflow or soldering work:
KINGBO flux. But that one in small package - in syringe with hologram sticker. Only this one is original and authentic - big packages are very often fake. Kingbo is japanese and it helps to make great joints, it not boiling during reflow, smoke is small, smell is good, and the price as well. Look at e-bay for Kingbo flux in syringe.(it has a thread on connection on top so you can screw down any cheap needles for electrionics chemicals, and to push piston on bottom you can use pusher arm from any medical syringle in the same size)

Just what we need, a dodgy way to fix things properly! As always a BIG 👍 from me. Looking forward to learning from you. I’m off now to destroy my television for parts, I’ll be ready and waiting at the weekend! Hopefully the wife will be around so there’ll be plenty hot air!

What temperature did you use for soldering iron to solder back the new connector? I head you saying that for removing the damaged connector
you used 500° hot air, but you didn't mention the temerature for soldering iron to solder back the new connector?

Hello Sorin, thanks for this latest video, I hope you are feeling a lot better than you were at the weekend and that your throat is getting better, do you have any plans to do repair videos on Windows-based Desktop Computers, still a lot of them out there, maybe its difficult for you to film them with the limited space you have or is it just that you dont get any of them in?, anyway keep up the great work, its greatly appreciated by everyone on this channel

Apple lied to me. I had my screen cracked. So I went to Apple and told me they can’t replace the iPad mini 4 screen. Damn! But when I finally decide to buy a new one I thought I would get a reduction if they take the one that I had. They came back and told me since it’s superficial they would give me a new one, free of charge. I was happy but why they to me that they don’t replace the screen on the this pad. And then I see you with an opened one. So the question is: how do you get the screen out?
