I’ve been using the full package for some years and its been great! Professionally and for travel. You can easily use a dslr with a hefty lens and a mirrorless. I just need a bottom plate that I can use with a tripod so I ordered one separately.
Don't forget that the default capture clip camera attachment is arca swiss compatible. They even have an adapter that is arca swiss AND Manfrotto RC2 compatible. Just buy a cheap arca swiss adapter for your tripod and you are golden. Thanks for the review!
@@CharlieVN It would be great to have a version of Capture Camera for tripods, but I do love that it snaps into my Arca-Swiss tripod head w/ quick release clamp and it's still pretty quick and super secure.
Great review! I've subbed. I'm considering the V3 clip, however, I AM using a model specific RRS L-plate to attach my D800 to a Markins ball head. If I choose the Peak Design V3 clip, I'll have to give up the comfort and stability of the existing L-plate. Have you done long hikes with the V3 clip attached? is it comfortable enough? I probably wouldn't enjoy it much if my lens would bounce on my ribs while hiking (while using hiking poles). (I'll probably get the pro pad as well, if I get the clip).
the pro pad is by far the most comfortable solution compared to anything else. I've done the palos verdes cliffs, not sure if that qualifies as long, but it sure gets me winded lol. You can also look into the world of belt packs if you have more simplistic setups. Think tank digital holster series, construction belt, official belt, many ways to approach. Holster I'll use more for hikes if I want to keep gear clean. Clip is more for urban areas/in the city.
Glad I could help, you may also consider the falcam f38, going to be doing a review on that in the coming weeks. it's a competitor that is nicer in some ways, however unproven long term. Peak is solid, everything I toss at it, no issues, it doesnt even get loose because of the fine threads.
the falcam is a different system, it synches tight and there's some pros and cons about those two systems, will be making a future video about it. The differences are tiny measurements but can make a big difference with the gear you have.
@@CharlieVN I don't know how it is with the peak design, but with the ulanzi I can't use the plate on a tripod as it gets loose no matter how much you tighten the screw. From the reviews on Amazon the capture v3 issue is with the screws of the clip getting loose. Guess there isn't a proper backpack/belt clip solution yet. You still need to have a strap just in case it fails.
Awesome, simply awesome review and content. I agree with Sean Wilson's sentiments. You should have more subs! Maybe it’s because you’re not giving shit away, or blasting obnoxious music in the background, who knows? 🤔🙄😳😃😂. So with that Im gonna add myself as a Subscriber. Thank You! 👍👍👍✌🏻😁📷
Such high quality content! I love your videos dude! I will never understand why you don't have more subs
Thanks, it’s getting there
Indeed, couldn’t agree more!
HIGH quality indeed.
Thanks man. Appreciate your view on this.

Thank you I’m thinking about purchasing this but saw some bad reviews on Amazon. Sub

Can you really take it out with only one hand? I've got the Falcam Ulanzi generic and you can only remove the camera using 2 hands

thanks, UA-cam is hard, takes a lot of work to get comfortable in front of a camera. and no giveaways 😅
