🇩🇪 CBYX 40th Anniversary reunion in Washington D.C. 🍺

Did you know that I was a high school foreign exchange student to Germany? I spent my junior year as a CBYX participant, a scholarship program funded by the German Bundestag and U.S. Congress to foster international understanding and diplomacy. I recently attended the 40th anniversary of the program in Washington D.C. and has a blast! It triggered a lot of nostalgia, so for fun, included some photos of myself at 16/17 in Germany... I look like a BABY!!!

My mom, who is 56, grew up in Germany. When she was a teen, this was her favorite song. At one point, I made a breakcore remix for her since she has ADHD and thus likes that genre. Coincidentally, we went to Washington, D.C. together for my 11th birthday. We visited the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument as well.
