You don't truly understand the artistry of BJJ until you see a fifty year old man with bad shoulders utterly destroy a young man in his athletic prime.........using nothing but pure technique.
Imagine the amount of "eureka!" moments he had feeling the techniques done at absolute perfection level. You really have to feel Jiu Jitsu like that to truly understand
This is why I love to watch the older guys, that came up through the self defence era of Jiu Jitsu with Helio around. They roll so calmly, so effortlessly and so effectively
Prof. Sauer simply put is amazing! What beautiful jujitsu! The flow the energy! Every technique seems effortless! A treat for all those in attendance and those who watch this video! No ego just flow... What a motivator !!!!!!
Josh is seasoned and smart. He is going that speed because he knows professor is like quick sand. The faster you move and struggle, the faster you sink.
this is scary. the brown belt would toy me like nothing. but i'm seeing that the professor is toying him making me forget that that's a brown belt. almost made me think i can take on that brown belt. this is insane.
I was thinking the EXACT SAME THING!!! The Brown Belt would SPANK me, and Pedro DIRTIED the Brown Belt. So using simple mathematical substituion, Pedro would SPANK me DIRTY!!!
@vtasurfers1: I may be wrong but Im prettty sure that sweep is a variation to the "flower sweep". Its a slightly different set up/approach, but same principal of catching your opponent when his weight is off center just enough to windshield wipe him over.
That's the difference with high level Gracie Black Belts and the rest. Marcelo's student's push him and there rolling is more like a match but the Gracie guy's (Are a Gracie or was taught by a Gracie) get much more respect and it's about inches and leverage more. Both are good but the Respect aspect has to be remembered....
It is extremely humbling to roll with someone of his caliber. When you get to be a brown belt, sometimes you forget where you came from or where you really are. You're at the point that a lot of your partners are not tapping you on a regular like they used to. Sometimes it takes rolling with a great to give you the proper perspective.
In first 1/4 of the video I stopped watching it! Why it the BROWN BELT dude keeps putting his right foot upfront all da time??? Didn't he learn from the first or second time he gets caught by the professor !!!!

SCROGY you my friend understand what jiujitsu is. I agree 100%
He handles black and brown belts as easily as they handle white belts. It's amazing to watch.
I have watched this video over and over. The transitions and timing are flawless. What I wouldn't give to spend 30 days rolling with Professor Sauer.
Does anyone realize how LUCKY that brown belt was to be tapped that many times? To have that level of jiu jitsu done to you is a gift
Imagine the amount of "eureka!" moments he had feeling the techniques done at absolute perfection level. You really have to feel Jiu Jitsu like that to truly understand
That's funny, against Pedro the Brown belt looks like he never had a BJJ class in his life!

Master Pedro makes that brown belt looks like a white belt.
Josh is seasoned and smart. He is going that speed because he knows professor is like quick sand. The faster you move and struggle, the faster you sink.
Agreed. Josh is no joke. Pedro makes everyone look this silly when he rolls them.
Lol I kept forgetting he was rolling with a brown belt. Crazy how can even baby around the brown belt. What a beast
Lol the set up for the back take at :45 was just brilliant.
I think this is the blue belt test being demonstrated on a brown belt.
What impresses me the most is how slow and unstoppable all his movements are. There is no need for chaos.
0:44!!!!!! That is amazing! I love it!!!
Awesome !!
How awesome does one have to be to just handle a brown belt that way !!!!
What a great honor
this looks like Neo when he decodes the Matrix. Sublime.
Made that brown belt look like a white! He's a special grappler and its spectacular the way he keeps giving to the sport.
There's levels to this shit man.
this is scary. the brown belt would toy me like nothing. but i'm seeing that the professor is toying him making me forget that that's a brown belt. almost made me think i can take on that brown belt. this is insane.

This was truly inspirational to watch. =)
excellent way to rolling !! awesome moves !! truly amazing how he is all calm doing the technique ..
He makes EVERYONE look like a white belt.... man
The man is simply the best in the world and the gap between his knowledge and everyone else is huge and getting bigger everyday!
This is amazing to watch
Man, I would love to flow like Pedro Sauer and you guys are bless to have him as your instructor, directly under Rickson Gracie, I envy you guys :-)
+DeVon Carter didnt he train side by side with rickson and he trained directly under helio?
Hahaha. This is amazing. I feel for the brown belt, but then again, you're getting to roll with Pedro Sauer. I'd take my lumps and be happy.
Amazing how he relies not at all on explosiveness, strength or athleticism to absolutely dominate a brown belt. All technique!
Sooo smooth....
@vtasurfers1: I may be wrong but Im prettty sure that sweep is a variation to the "flower sweep". Its a slightly different set up/approach, but same principal of catching your opponent when his weight is off center just enough to windshield wipe him over.
This is beautiful
Would give anything to move with this great professor
SUPERIOR TECHNICAL MASTERY AT WORK 😁🥋.
No shame getting tapped by Prof Sauer. He is on another level.
As a whitebelt this video scares the shit out of me..
RamboSambo2350 not still a white belt I hope...
That back take thooooo!!!
The brown belt looks like this is his first class in jiu jitsu.
Thanks coach
He really Sauered my attitude on Jiu-Jitsu
Professor Sauer has handled 4th Degree Blackbelts in the same way..... Fact
1:45 is a great counter to when someone bases out wide to avoid your butterfly sweep. Going to have to try that one
There are levels to this game.
The professor is way to good.
Outstanding...
Spun him in the air like he was tossing a pizza with his feet @ 2:54
that back take...
Best cardio ever
pedro is a black belt among black belts. it's to be expected for a brown belt to be tapped that easily by him.
Thanks, I think you are right. I've never seen it before, just kinda curious.
How could anyone roll while Pedro is rolling!
he does to a brown belt what a brown belt does to me
What sweep is that at 5:27? does anybody know?
Damn Professor is nasty!! Osss
Pulled out the helicopter armbar...nice
I cant count how many times i said "Wait, you can do that??"
I guess this is what they mean when they say there are only two belts in jujitsu white and black.
Effortless. This is what we strive for.
Como esses cara pegou a faixa marron , lutando desse jeito ????
Why do people keep laughing like they are surprised a koral belt is schooling a brown belt.
They're probably just expressing joy at watching such talent.
That's the difference with high level Gracie Black Belts and the rest. Holy shit. That brown belt looks small

is he really that good or is the brown belt not giving it 100%
Pedro Sauer At His Best . Thank Master Sauer & Annie Sauer For Telling Me & Showing Me The Truth 😘🥋. Your Student Paul K Topel .
He looks like he is playing around without use of any force or brutality. I have not seen that in any of the other masters. Well except Takhti.
This is me no stripe white belt against a purple belt
sticky hooks is the way
I like to call it "magic"
As a white belt w/ one stripe I get my ass handed to me every night and I am okay with that cause I have fallen in love with Jujitsu!
2:50-2:58 is ridiculous.
Poor brown belt....
@2.55 😳
Old fighting skill is old. There hasn’t been a jui Jitsu champ in mma in a loooong time.
In first 1/4 of the video I stopped watching it! Why it the BROWN BELT dude keeps putting his right foot upfront all da time??? Didn't he learn from the first or second time he gets caught by the professor !!!!
the giggling ... please stop!
Worst brown belt i ever seen
Ashton Kutcher: Hold my beer…
This brown belt is a joke
+VSPM3 Maybe Pedro Sauer is just that good?
+Shou Kisaragi Not maybe, he is. I've been to one of his seminars.... the guy is insane. so much knowledge, and he's been training for over 40 years.
+kr4yzi32k yeh I know he's that good. I'm just answering the smartass whos dissing the brown belt.
+Shou Kisaragi the guy dissing the brown belt does not train. Guarantee it.
Based on all the time you spent shutting down Pedro Sauer, right?
