Against the Storm is a roguelite city builder set in a fantasy world where it never stops raining. You are the Queen’s viceroy - a pioneer sent into the wilds to establish and manage new settlements inhabited by beavers, lizards, and humans.
Your goal is to survive long enough and gather the valuable resources necessary to rebuild and upgrade the Smouldering City. It’s the only safe haven against the Blightstorm - a vile cycle of destruction ravaging everything in its path. Do you have what it takes to weather the storm?

oooooooooooo yea ! i love this game! Its like playing the first portion of a Civ or Anno game without the long drawn out endgame.
I do hope ya do a full play of this, its a great game and glad to see it getting more attention from streamers
I would love someone that does great content on this game, so far I feel others covering this are not to my liking.

This game is so good. Very well crafted “early access” game. This game fooled me into thinking this was a typical early access but honestly it is a feature complete game. Music is some of the highest quality I’ve heard in a while. Devs please continue to make this game even better. 10/10 worth every penny spent.
Woodcutters fell the tree closest to the building, if you dont mark any tree in their influence radius. if you mark trees, they will prioritize the closest marked tree over any closer unmarked tree.
This game is something very special. It's so satisfying and addicting. ONE MORE SETTLEMENT.

This game is great, I'd love to see you play more of it. It's one of the only games in this genre that doesn't feel like a spreadsheet simulator. Every run feels fresh, the unlock system is exciting to progress, and despite being a roguelike, every run feels winnable regardless of difficulty.

YESSS!!!! Oh I'm so glad you are trying this again in it's 'full' form. The bi-weekly updates are just so refreshing, and it's such a different game than a year ago. I think it's probably too long per-game for any kind of series, but I love the game loop!

2 days ago, before I purchased this game, I was in the dilemma if I actually wanted it. When seeing it was a roguelite I thought, "oh retro has to have done a first look" and you had not. But I have 0 regrets. Game is great and addicting.

A) Views aren't the only thing I use.
B) Every Let's Try video gets the most views after the 24-48hr mark, Brotato starts higher, but Let's Try ends higher.
C) If views were the metric, it was one of the lowest performing Let's Try videos recently.
Runs are too long and if I'm going to cover it as a series it would be for 1.0, it still has some polish elements it needs worked out and I don't want to burn myself out before it is finished.
