This music should be played every Veterans Day and 4th of July. So we never forget what the Greatest Generation sacrificed for those who came after... And Never Forget Them.
When i hear this music i just goosebump and i don't know why even i'm not european i'm Pakistani and i watched this Tv series entireley and i've pathetic feelings for these honourable soldiers who spent their lives for their country. R.I.P. WW2 Herose
The score for this series was fantastic. It was very fitting and thoughtful. I listen to the album quite frequently and it always connects me to the most amazing series done in honor of those e veterans who fought.
Own the series, watch it every Memorial Day. My grandfather served in the Navy, he didn’t talk about it at all. He had a drawer full of medals us kids only got a peek at once in a blue moon. My wife’s grandfather serve with the 9th infantry, I met him once. Not sure how I got him to talk about it, but it was frightening. Trucks falling off muddy cliffs, fear of being killed while trying to get to the war. His words were detailed like it was yesterday. These soldiers sacrificed everything for us and they lived with these memories until the very end... 🇺🇸
I had the great privilege of serving with the 1st Special Forces Group, Special Action Force Asia; the Berlin Brigade while the wall was still up and we were essentially besieged; and, the Battling Bastards of Bravo Company, 3/187th Infantry, 101st Airborne/Air Assault ... as proud as I am of my service, I don't think that we rose to the courageous heights of our fathers who maintained our freedom and democracy during World War II. I hope that those who hear this music will remember their tremendous sacrifice.
what you, your friends, and those before you did will never be forgotten. I too am proud of my service, but nothing will ever compare to what they did back then.
It isn't just that... they were born just after the "war to end all wars", they grew up during the great depression as teenagers, not knowing if the world would pull through, then they had to summon the courage to fight on the European soil to end the Nazi threat. This was the greatest generation we will ever know. Life is too easy now, that's why things "seem" so bad to the younger generations, they simply haven't had to live through any REAL hardships so they have this need to create them.

It's called loving freedom and it doesn't matter where you're from. Every country has those who do, those who don't, and those who just don't care.
you sound like a good person and i wish you a life of prosperity and peace

That trumpet is stunning. And this is a high school orchestra.

The local fellows on the screens...ah, pardon me, got a speck of dust in my eye here....
Excellent job here. One would think that the Army Band and choir would perform this.
This was Perfect!
More than perfect soundtrack, one of the best I've heard.
