Two things.
The last lie you talked about i believe happened to me too. I wasn't really interested in the girl, but she told me something and after some months a close friend told me that she actually did something else. That really hit me. On one hand i feel kinda "happy" for the other guy. On the other hand, i realize that if in the future i'm the one who has the business meeting, then there's probably someone else who received a lie as an excuse. That is kinda sad. Maybe with enough experience i will change perspective but for now it is like that.
Secondly, i feel like as a guy you can never lower you "guard" and start to confidently feel that the girl you're talking to is actually honest. If you do that, it's likely that sooner or later you will be disappointed. It's like you're constantly facing someone you have to be careful with. I honestly think that the doubt and detachment will always be with me for the rest of my life. For now, it seems quite a burden to carry.
I've recently become extremely aware of these things and since then i'm always skeptical about so many things... projecting into the future, is seems that things won't ever improve
