I think NIL 2 D-tilt is actually something people should do more as a mix-up option, like what you did against the Diddy. He would’ve covered a good chunk of your options and sent you into disadvantage with that monkey-flip, so that conversion was sick to see.
@@user-gamingziidheudk I don’t get what you mean by “limiting” on battlefield, and sure it’s a little slow, my original point was it to be used a mix-up. If you condition your opponent to break the bottom block on a wall it would be a solid mix-up and the opponent would probably break the block under you as you d-tilt which would lead to a possible combo. Also, rockman is a terrible example for your point since he more aligns with complicated set-ups and a NIL based combo game, Yonni and Jake have very different playstyles and I could totally Yonni at least using what I had originally said.
@@user-gamingziidheudk Sorry but I can’t, I was mostly speaking hypothetically. The reason I can’t really practice it with you online is mostly due having terrible internet, I also only really play offline due to that. In practice with people I know, I have tested it against quite a few scenarios against multiple characters and either it clanks with a thrown out hitbox or catches them if they’re not Pichu. Now, this is just personal experience but it’s not the god-awful option you make it out to be. The only issue with it is that your slightly above people if it does clang and people are smart enough to space a B-air or something safe after the d-tilt ends, but I’ve noticed wave landing If you whiff puts you right out of range of most things. The only exceptions to this are projectiles or a MinMin’s arm.
