I'm so happy you picked up the old cook book . I can't help think how many ladies used and made food from the cook book. It pulls at my heart ❤ strings when I see things like this. I get so sad when I see old family pictures at a thrift store or antique mall or store..
Goodness, you did several good deeds by the time you merchandised the shelves and returned the knives… you’re such a good person. And I’m not at all bothered by however you narrate. It’s fine either way. You have an engaging and friendly, welcoming manner. Always enjoy your videos. And I loved the cookbooks! Such great graphics!
22:40 You did a good job with the voiceover + live recording. It was not the least bit annoying. 24:56 I love that the women on the cookbook covers wear traditional Hungarian, French and Scandinavian folk attire when serving meals from those cookbooks. 😅
Spirited Away (and all the movies in that genera like Ponyo) are AMAZING movies... i am over 40 and still enjoy watching them. They are so good and actually about something.
Nothing wrong with the video was not hectic to listen to you did just fine and I appreciate the video. I enjoyed it and I will catch you on the next one.
Once a teacher always a teacher. In the late 80s thru 1992 I was an instructional teaching assistant in “K”. I was in charge of the fine motor skill center, painting center, housekeeping/dress up center (that was fun), crafting center and I taught math. Hubby was transferred and I just could not get hired (interviewed for 3 jobs). I live in a small clicky town. Our little weekly newspaper had an ad, I applied and stayed 23 years. I more a hundred hats. So…I get you.
So glad you save the cookbooks, esp the old Better Homes and Gardens. I can't resist old cookbooks with hand written notes and recipes in them. I have found some of the best recipes that way-they used way less fat, sugar and everything back then.
Wow, the shelves were jam-packed!! I loved all of the teacups/saucers and the sugar/creamers. Thank you for showing them. I saw a few I'd love to have!
I worked retail for a long time and there are times I have to stop myself from merchandising. I still pull forward merchandise such as cereal after I grab a box for myself lol. Those skull mugs are everywhere! I love globes and haven't bought one yet. I guess I'm waiting for the right one. I'm not a home school mom, but both of my parents were teachers. I think the voice over was very nice. It all flowed smoothly. Nice cookbooks! ☺
I worked in a grocery store for a year! I loved it ... I do the same. I also talk to the bread man when I see him at Walmart 😂 My dads worked at Wonder, Kilpatricks, Svenhards, Hostess & Armour/Swift. So I learned from him. He always said he could sell 🧊 ice to eskimos. 😊
Fabulous video as always. I agree, however you record is fine, as your voice is so calming and you are so professional in doing your videos. I love when you insert any kind of information too. Love the old cookbooks you found at the 'bins'. I'm like you, I never go in there. Ha. You found great things! Susie waving is precious! 👋
Dagney, you and Karen from Lavender Clothesline were in the same store. Too funny I kept seeing the same stuff. I wonder if you were in the store at the same time. I don’t remember the music being so loud in her video. Thank you for doing the voiceover. You did a good job.
Your videos are never annoying. I really like that you look at stuff just to learn about it. I always group like items together too. It might be the mom in us or ocd? Lol ❤️
Always enjoy your videos. That pattern of Homer Laughlin isn't one I am familiar with it was so pretty. You did a great job with your voice over editing. So many awesome things on the shelf. Loved when the horse n buggy passed by. The cookbooks is so wonderful. Glad you grabbed them💝
Me again.....I just got back from the BIG GW. My gosh, tons of skull mugs........😂......but hardly saw anything you showed. I was hoping to find that Rae Dunn 'sprout' planter.......to no avail. I did see a gal with a clear glass fairy light, short kind. I commented, and she said she squealed when she saw it.....underneath, buried. She was lucky on the St. Patrick's day. 🍀
Hello Dagny. I thoroughly enjoyed this video. I wasn’t at all distracted-I was fascinated. Very entertaining and informative. Just what I like from all my UA-cam tchotchke ladies.😊
I love all your videos the are so educational and fun everything you don't get get I'm always saying but I would buy that 😊like all those skull mugs and yes thanks for saving the cookbooks
Hello, Dagny. I uses a drop of dishvather ditergent warm vater and a brooken silverchain to clean glass and chrystal that are not clear. The silver helps to clean.
I have so much of that same light blue and white stuff. People with geese. Kids fishing. Boat with old man. I also have the older darker blue and white. One set or other needs to go.... Maybe this tiny house will not work out for a hoarder! Lol. In my defense, its not hoarding if its in a tote.
I appreciate the fact you do a voiceover when there is loud music playing in the background. I know that it takes extra time, but I for one appreciate it. It is sometimes way too distracting to watch resellers when there’s really loud music playing. I end up turning their videos down & just watching with no narration. So, thank you!! 😊
I once found a hard solid plastic gun at Goodwill. It was the size of a 9mm and was true to weight. When I pointed it out to a worker, she laughed and walked away.
I rearrange to put like items together. You are not alone!
Our Goodwill don't let you carry away things from the cases in the front. They hold it for you.

The old cook book was something else amazing 👏🏼
I love old cookbooks
I missed your shopping but I’m glad you had a nice vacation with your parents. The voiceover was smooth and not at all annoying 😊
Nothing wrong with the video was not hectic to listen to you did just fine and I appreciate the video. I enjoyed it and I will catch you on the next one.
Thank you so much. This was just great🕊👍
I loved that glass Eiffel Tower!🗼 Great Thrifting video!
Lovely shopping and one of the things I like best about your shopping style is that it's calm and unhurried. You are unique and wonderful ❤️
I loved the bunny mug. ❤

Definitely a worthwhile trip! Happy thrifting.

Those floral mugs are so pretty! I rearrange and group things together too - it's very satisfying!
Your videos are ALWAYS calm and relaxing! Love them.
The cook books were fun! They remind me of books my mom had when I was young!
Yvon would love that safety pin lamp shade😍
The long teal blue dish at 22:30 was BEAUTIFUL! I wish you had picked it up....😢
Very nice... Just a small chip on the base. 😕
Vetch, ground cherry and violets are weeds in my lawn. The fourth cup must have been crabgrass.
You did a good job. well done.
I enjoy your videos so much! I loved the 50’s china with the grey border. And the mug with two bunnies having tea! Thank you for a fun shopping trip.😊
Really enjoy the calm of your videos. Great fun today.
i love cream and sugar set and vintage cookbooks
Wow, the shelves were jam-packed!! I loved all of the teacups/saucers and the sugar/creamers. Thank you for showing them. I saw a few I'd love to have!
Loved your bins finds.
I’m a dork too, always putting things together.

Dagney, my pet bunny said please don't pull his tail because he doesn't dispense cotton balls. lol That little bunny was so cute!
That plaque “the little things in life” is still in my parents home here in Alberta Canada 🇨🇦. It’s easily 35+ years old for sure
Nice knife set, and I love the tea sets🥰
I really like those shoes
Great, Great , Great video...thanks for sharing!!!!!!
Thanks for watching!

The lampshade and it’s coloring were unique. Great score on the cooking books from the bins.
Always a pleasure watching you and hearing your enthusiasm over what you see!❤

Lol I am a homeschool mom… we have at least 4 or 5 globes. 😂 Two are real, the rest are decorative.
I love your voice overs....you have a lovely, very calming vice Dagny
Oooh you should pick up anything pharmacy related like the letter opener. They sell well
Another great video Dagny 🤩 Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed!
Dagny you are such a sweet soul. I love getting books at the bins, especially cookbooks. Keep doing what you're doing, I love following you.

Awww I was hoping you got the shoes!!

Someone REALLY loved those skull mugs.
Thanks Dagny! Love the salad plates and Suzie!!
I worked retail years ago, and I still rearrange things on shelves of stores. ha ha You just can't help it.
It was a wonderful video Dagny! Your one of my favorite re-sellers. Especially all your doggies and your family vlogs. Thank you very much! 😊
The cookbook is wonderful! Great find!
FYI sea glass is also known as “tears of mermaids” ❤your life stories and shopping trips.

Are you going to be listing the cookbooks? My son and I collect vintage cookbooks.
I love the geography lessons. I like to know where different areas are situated. Thank you.
I have the new England cookbook. I love mine.
I would rather hear your calming voice than the loud music.❤
If you hadn't rescued the cookbook I would have.
The bar utensil guy looks exactly like a lamp I bought my hubs. If you go back, please pick it up. He can put his pens etc in it
Yay you got him!
She did get it. It will probably be for sale on her EBay page.
I wish my goodwell would be as packed as yours. But the prices are high.
I always enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing your trip with us.
Oh no you didn’t get the safety pin lamp shade for Yvon???
You could grab the day of the dead mugs and invite us all over for tea and hot chocolate. Good idea? Yes?
I have the same pretzel tin but mine is 40+ years old
I loved it
Karen Lavender Clothesline was just at the same Goodwill! Did you see each other?
I once found a hard solid plastic gun at Goodwill. It was the size of a 9mm and was true to weight. When I pointed it out to a worker, she laughed and walked away.
❤❤❤❤
You got some nice items
It’s a milk can. 😏
How much for the eagle decal. I am working on a picnic basket that is red, white and blue.
Love the video ❤️❤️
The fireking/Pyrex soup bowl with the hand painted peach is the "gay fab" pattern from the 1940's.
The belt had the look of Brighton, it would’ve been marked. $$
They should be paying you for all the shelf merchandising that you've been doing on this trip.
I think a lot of times items get broken after being put out, so they don't know things are broken.
Lol…I used to have one of those grading cheaters….
I make junk journals with old cookbooks.
