@4:42 he was made from Night Sister Magic, if you watch the animated series The Clone Wars (also created by Filoni) they dive into this. The Clone Wars is still some of the best Star Wars content out there. It dives very deep into the lore. Also if you watch The Clone Wars, you will see Ahsoka go through her journey to become who she is now
The tears with this episode and the next one were strong. 😭😭 Btw, Huyang definitely tore the wires intentionally to get Ahsoka and Sabine to come outside. They knew Huyang wouldn't mess up that bad. He was around too long and knew pretty much everything so the only reason why was an unconventional way of alerting them that something was wrong. Btw #2, Baylan is definitely one of those people that's true to his word. The power of that hyperspace ring was enough to tear open space itself...that's alarming.
Marrok the Inquisitor was an Undead, brought back to life by Morgan Elzbeth, that's why when Ahsoka sliced his body the black-green smoke spewed from him and his body instantly withered
Remember Tara, Ahsoka has been mercing inquisitors since she was 18. The fight between Baylan and Ahsoka is absolutely incredible. Those last 2 minutes had EVERY prequel/CW fan SCREAMING
Seeing Anakin and Ahsoka reunite was one of the things I had wanted for years, we finally got it and I was in tears 😢 Thank you so much for another wonderful reaction Tara
"Your legacy, like your master's, is one of death and destruction." Lots of truth to that quote. Anakin may have redeemed himself in the end, but you could still argue that he did more harm than good.
Tara, Freddie Prinze Jr did dressed as Live action Kanan. Hera has a photo of him inside the cockpit of the Ghost. I forgot which episode they show it but you have to Zoom in.
Hi Tara. Little Easter Egg at the 0:50 mark.... Grand Admiral Thrawn was first created by writer Timothy Zahn for a trilogy of books taking place a few years after Return of the Jedi. The title of the first book? "Heir to the Empire". =D (while no longer canon, the trilogy is a good read. The other titles are "Dark Force Rising", and "The Last Command".) 4:50 - Witchcraft. For all of the speculation about Marrok's identity.... "Witchcraft" was not called by anyone. But you've seen that "green smoke" before.... during the Clone Wars, and IIRC, once in Rebels..... let's see if you can piece it together. 5:50 - Notice, every time someone questions Baylon on what he's up to with a single word, he changes the word from theirs, to an accurate one. 6:42 - I just LOVE how Shin flinched... then when she claims Sabine "has no power"... Sabine uses one of her Mandalorian tools meant to counter Jedi. 7:25 - A few things here, since it all happened so fast: Baylon actually wasn't wrong when he said that Ahsoka's legacy was one of death and destruction. Obi-Wan trained Anakin, Anakin trained Ahsoka, and Ahsoka tried training Sabine. We know what Anakin did/became, Ahsoka herself has done more than a few things leading to death and destruction, and Sabine.... well.... "Night of a Thousand Tears" (Purge of Mandalore), of which her entire family died. Also, when Ahsoka saw Shin, she assumed Sabine was now dead, as well... and she tapped into the Dark Side to knock Shin out. 8:35 - THAT is how much she wants to see her "only remaining brother" again. Even after Ahsoka warned her what could happen. Also, give Baylon credit here, he has promised to take her along and not harm her. So, ARE those who use the Dark Side really all that evil? Or maybe just "selfish"? Post episode: Ummm... if you don't have tissues, you might want to get some for the next episode. No spoilers, but you might need them.
@@IggyStardust1967 I knew Ahsoka was PISSED when she threw Shin like that. I was also terrified because I thought Baylon was going to note her distraction and slash her with his saber! I loved this episode so much.
@@thatnerdtara No spoilers.... but if you liked THIS episode.... you're gonna LOVE LOVE LOVE the next one. Even the people who complained about the series seemed to like it.
10:33 yeah we all knew what was coming when she ended up here again. There's no way they weren't going to do this. That aside it was awesome as hell to see Hayden play Anakin again in recent years. He also watched the clone wars so he has more knowledge of how Anakin was at different points in his life. Biggest indicator is him calling Ahsoka snips
I'm just gonna throw this out there. Now Filoni is getting to bring his toys to the big screen (which: hooray!) I'd love a third act desperate space battle, things going badly for the heroes only for two flights of X-wings to do the big damn heroes thing. After all isn't it about time we got to see Phoenix and Rogue squadrons flying together? (After all asking for Wraith as well would just be greedy....)
I willbe the first to admit that this is 100% fan service and I did not cry not even once. Nevertheless seeing Hayden again after all this time, has not aged a day since ep3.
@@Snippysnips0 Definitely a bit of fan service but I think this appearance makes an impact on her overall story. He was the arguably the most important person in her life, someone she looked up to. She needed closure.
Hi, Tara! Being followed you since way long, full Rebels on at least, have seen you growing to LOVE this People and this stories so much I am so EAGER for next one, I know you know think you watch a month or 3 weeks ahead posting on YT so WE ALL KNOW! Best Star Wars Episode Ever. And soon you'll be ahead being almost done with everything so you are updated by the time Andor 2 comes out. Hope you don't skip 1. Jedi atemple Challenge with Kelleran Beck (10 Disney Kids Channel Episodes 12 min each with Ahmed as Kelleran, swear you'll cry happy tears several times) 2. Star Wars Japanese Kabuki Show Live on the times of Rei and Kylo is on UA-cam 3. Battlefront I & II, Jedi Fallen Order, Jedi Survivor, Outlaws, Visions, Lego Star Wars, Resistance, Rebuilt of the Galaxy y Young Jedi Adventures specially this last one before Skeleton Crew and maybe even before The Acolyte if possible. Visions could give you insights of storytellimg that will enhance Acolyte too. 2003 Clone Wars 2D tho I have a slight recall have seen you reacting to that one already and it never hurts Everything on Star Wars Vintage like the Battle on Endor the Muppets Christmas Special and I would even imclude The Ewoks cartoon just to never forget how this all started. You said it all with your reaction to that Anakin's Snips way to call Ahsoka. 🎉🎉🎉
So much for Mister Marok! My favorite original charecter, who I will not name for spoiler reasons, is Who I consider a shorter, younger and definitely creepier version of Captain Rex. For those who have seen the entire series, you'll know who I'm talking about...
Amazing way to end the ep. I usually avoid BTS stuff etc. but even the very first teaser image of just the title screen for "Ahsoka" had some world between worlds elements so I suspected we were going there but still wasn't prepared for that ending or what follows (i.e. arguably the best Star Wars content in decades - and i'm not a sequels hater BTW, it's just the next episode is _that_ good IMO :).
Loved this series.. my only problem was the episodes were way too short.. they tone down a lot of the characters, especially Sabine.. some of the choices Hera makes doesn’t feel like the animated version of her like risking working on a bomb in a hospital even though she was hologram, she would never do something like that Hera.. I think that’s understandable. It was a little slow, moving the first 3 episodes.. would’ve been nice to get a longer season since the episodes were so short..
As much as Hera's actions of trusting Her friends and instincts is admirable, She still caused the deaths of two of the New Republic's Starfighter Corp's Pilots. Not to mention valuble equipment and reasources... This will no doubt have Senators like Xiono questioning, and rightly so, Hera's reliability to pass judgement without Her personal feelings getting in the way. Any General worth His or Her salt knows that both the Soldier and the Officer must put His or Her own feelings aside to objectively and pragmaticly look at the bigger picture. Failure to do so can result in disastrous consequences for all involved. As seen in this episode... Does anyone agree?
Kanan Would never come back he was never trained to be a force ghost.. Anakin is the chosen one. So he didn't really need special training but. Obi wan and others had to specially train..
I will fully admit. Lots of tears were shed at the end of this episode. Tears of sadness and happiness.
Long have I waited to see your reaction to the last scene in this episode. Get the tissues ready for the next episode.
