I would get the Polestar 3 all day long. I have driven one and loved everything about it. I'm 6'4" and really love the extra room in the back. I think it has plenty of space for luggage and what not.
I own a 2018 S90 and love love the look of this, but I’m more of a big sedan person, would love to see a ES90 based on this one… it is allegedly coming. But my next car will most likely be the Polestar 5 if they dont make the ES90
As far as I’m concerned, Volvo certainly beats BMW for style, Mercedes Benz for luxury and anyone else for versatility!! The sad thing is that I was given a Volvo in the wrong era!! It was a little 340 with a lot of luxuries, but in those days they just weren’t the great cars they are now!!
no leather seats option + fixed panoramic roof with no shade + no cooled seats = my no go points for EX90. (adding crappy sunshades + cheap door pouches with no polstering). Running XC90 2024 now and if there will be no change in the future in this skewed volvo mindset, have to look around.
They are different for a reason as they are made to attract different customers. What would be the point of making the cars the same? What is good for you is not necessarily good for another. But I understand being a fanboy that is difficult to realise which also makes it difficult to take this seriously as there absolutely no objectivity. Great cars both of them in their own way.

Albeit bulky, Kia ev9 offers what I need, especially the 6 seater. Cheaper than ex90, much cheaper than the ripoff Germans. And most importantly perhaps: warranties much longer than Volvo can afford to offer. Sorry to say all this after I have owned 4 big Volvos during the last 30 years -- but I'm for non Volvo now
The EQS SUV is a very good car, and I’d be buying a used one as they are suffering significant depreciation of around 50%. So if you are prepared to take a car with a few thousand miles on it. It is significantly less than what is a very expensive Volvo. I like the look of the EX90, but it’s is about 40% more than I’d ever consider paying for a Volvo
"vegan leather" is pretty weird. It's not leather at all, just some chemicals like polyurethane and PVC on a mesh. Not so durable, not breathable, trash.
Nice review but I didn’t know you had five kids? Also who is driving for you to sit in the back? So Polestar 3 RWD for me. Also good on Volvo for saying no leather.

Even the old 340 was a reasonably good car if the engine had been looked after by a proper Volvo dealership!! Both my Honda Jazz and my Renault Zoe have been serviced by their respective agents!!

I would have the darker of the two leathers rather than the lighter. It’s more practical if you have a family!!

Weird comment. I'm driving a S60 now. With 5 seats, but that doesn't mean I have 3 kids. And sometimes I'm a passenger in my own car.
