I'd love to hear you perform this as it is here. Donna Summer's version doesn't cut it, except on a dancefloor. You created this masterpiece, and I've waited to hear you sing it like this from the 1st time I ever heard it. I'm with you on this - I was at Radio City as well, and waited for this song, and you are so right, the Donna Summer version doesn't cut it.....will go back in October and pray he plays it like this video....hopefully someone in his camp will read this and pass it on to Barry!!! The Frederic Chopin Prelude in C Minor is so melodic and always I want to sit by you at the piano and watch up close you playing it. That is one dream I have. You put so much of yourself in this wonderful video. I also can tell that you love to do it as at the end and you stand up, you shake your head and then your eyes get so large , I think because you have put so much energy in this one that you are exhausted when it is over. A-mazing. Gave me chills. Barry has the most beautiful voice ever. He considers himself an "ok" piano player, lol. He's brilliant. I loved to watch his hands here. An incredible talent. I went to see him live, front row, every single month from 2008 -2011 as a special treat to myself after a bad divorce. What a ride that was! I met him a few times in Vegas and he's a darling. How I love that man. ❤

I just saw an interview with him - it amazes me how fantastic his voice is in 2008 - no cracking or difficulty with higher notes, more than 30+ years after first singing the song initially! Such a beautiful voice and beautiful song! Love ya Barry!

Love his music!!! I was a kid listening to my moms records & his always got played!!! He ...I believe... Started out playing piano for Bette Midler! Then went solo singing but still writing songs for others. I hate that Hollywood has made artists feel they have to get plastic surgery to look good! Hollywood & the media has sold us all a bill of goods ...that we need to look 20 yrs old forever!!! Making women & men insecure over their looks! Why can't we just grow old graciously & be human??!!!

The Chopin Prelude is one I love as it get us to be able to watch you use your classical piano training which we don't often to get to see. To me your piano playing is so wonderful and soothing and sometimes so powerful, I think you will break a finger or one of your knuckles.l do really love this song too.
