The dunk you commented on about moving his arms out to show chest, was Klay Thompson. That was his first game back in the season after being out for almost two years coming off an ACL injury sustained in the Finals in 2019, then while rehabbing his knee, tore his Achilles. So it was a big thing about how much he would be the same upon coming back, and that dunk was HUGE. Much love yall

that dunk by westbrook on gobert is very impressive because russ hasnt been playing very well and is considered passed his prime and gobert is one of the best rim protecters in the league and has won defense player of the year 3 times

Klay’s dunk was special because he tore his acl on a similar dunk in the finals almost 3 year ago then tore his Achilles. He battled back thru depression and just last night the Warriors became NBA champions again… Check out the highlights and interviews. I’m no Warriors fan but it was awesome to see and Curry was emotional. It was his first Finals MVP and a lot of people thought their run was over for good. Proved them wrong. An all time sports comeback story. They won 3 championships then had the worst record in the NBA rebuilt the team and came back for their 4th. Amazing and nearly impossible in the NBA.

@@xRANZIDx D-Rose is honestly his best comparison. Both super good at getting into the lane and finishing with an up and under or a deadly floater game. Both not reliable from 3 point range but can hit some from time to time. Both had insane athleticism for a point guard, no other point guards ever had athleticism like them besides Russ
@@persistentlypathetic6820 This is actually untrue in Ja's case, D Rose has always had bounce throughout high school but Ja couldn't dunk a basketball until he was 18 during his senior year. He wasn't very bouncy until his dad had him doing plyometric workouts on a tire throughout an entire summer which was a game changer.

The height of the hoop is perfect. Ja Morant is a freak. You raise the rim 6 more inches and nobody below 6'6" is dunking for the most part.
Actually the best athletes in the NBA can dunk at over 12’. the current regulation height is good in my opinion.

Also, 90’s basketball 🏀 boosted support here in America…not sure if it’s because the Bulls kept kicking My Indiana Pacers in the ass every finals…. the bridge between decades that formed the olympic “Dream Team” (trading cards were still huge for us kids then)….Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, John Stockon, Barkley, Ewing, Webb….i cant even name all the legends in 70-90’s era but greatest players all at once for the time (and then we’d watch Mike Tyson knock someones head off in a Pay-Per-View match…play some nintendo punch out, nba jam, trade sports cards and do it all over again )….American Sports were awesome growing up! There were a LOT of other dunks from this season that should have been on that list. Was a pretty weak overall list.
The klay Thompson(GoldenState) dunk was his 1st one back from 2 seasons of recovering from major leg injuries.
Notice most of the under the leg dunks are in blowouts late in the game. If the game was in doubt those probably don’t happen.
