70% of the US GDP is created in blue states. If you take out Texas and Florida, less than 12% of the US GDP is created in the other 22 red states combined. The vast majority of red states take more from the federal government than they pay in taxes, while only 1 blue states takes more than they give. These are simply facts that are easy to google. Red states are poor, yet people in these red states think tax cuts on the rich and education cuts are going to help them. Things will only get worse for red states as people with education flee them.
