It's not that easy when you actually have attachments.
Very true. The attachments do make it more challenging, and the technique remains the same. Good luck!

How do you care for your Aligners
Can you eat or drink with it?
And when you bit you nail
THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO. My 8 year old was struggling with the bottom for days. I appreciate this content. ❤
Very informative and now I am going to follow your exact directions and see how that works . Thanks
Thanks Doc! Simple and effective. I have been struggling to get them off until now.
Glad it was helpful!! Have an awesome day!
Thank you Doc, I’m well along with my bottom tray my doc applied two extra attachments and sent me home. Releasing the new tray was like (excuse the pun) pulling teeth.
If I were there in Tennessee you’d be my doc. Thanks for the “make sense” demonstration.
Thank u so much this video was super helpful
You got it! Glad it was helpful!
thank you! just got my invisilgn today!
Great! Glad it was helpful!!
Wow. I thought I was physically unable to move that aligner from the inside. Couldn't get my thumb back there, but this hooked index finger does the magic trick. I still need a little practice and luckily the attachments will soften later on. Thanks!
Our pleasure! Glad it was helpful!
Thank you, today is my first day with them on. The two times I took them off, it felt weird, this works better.
Glad it was helpful!
God bless you.
Thank you!
I have a cracked essix retainer amd im looking for the video about how to take it off. I cant find it. Can you tell me the name of the video? Thanks.
I've had 3 bottom invisaligns break in a row in the same spot. Going to ortho next Friday. They broke 3 days ago. They told me to wear the last one that I have that isn't broken. I found an old pair but I'm not sure which set it was. They are very tight when I put them on. I'm not sure if I should wear those or keep wearing the broken set.
I will try this technique in the morning. Day 3 for me, and I managed to pull out my crown with my lower aligner. 😬
Hope it was helpful!
Is it suppost to feel like im ripping out a tooth?
What is the difference between getting invisalign from an orthodontist vs dentist
Great question. Orthodontists complete a 2-3 year specialty residency focusing specifically on orthodontics, while General Dentists do not. They also limit their practice exclusively to orthodontics.
Great video. I am about to book a consultation, and my worry is that my tooth next to my upper k9 has a veneer on it, and im sure my veneer will need to be removed in order to shift that tooth outwards to make it level with the rest. It is a shaved tooth which has lost half its depth. Without my veneer on that tooth is so ugly and far back it looks like i have a missing tooth. So when i wear my first trays i’ll look like i have a tooth missing :-( This is worrying me. Is there any way around this?
You know what you're getting with an orthodontist (more or less), but it's less certain with a dentist because their knowledge/skills can vary widely. In terms of getting the best smile/bite for an adult, an experienced and aesthetically/functionally focused dentist outstrips an experienced orthodontist because the former's practice looks at the bigger picture and they have many more tools in the toolbox.
My mouth isn’t big enough for me to put my whole finger in this way, any other options?
Great question. There are some instruments you can purchase online which have a hook that's used for removing the aligner. We've had some patients use those with success. Good luck!
@@GluckOrthodontics With the amount of money you charge (Thousands of dollars) You should provide that "Hook"~!
I'm still struggling with mine some...it almost feels stuck on, and my index finger doesn't fit well enough to take it off, and it tends to hurt when I get to the front teeth. :(
Sorry to hear that. Hang in there! Practice makes perfect. Hopefully you’ll figure out a way that works best for you. Good luck.
It's my bottom I have trouble
The attachments are what make it harder, for me cuz it locks it in at the front
Attachments can definitely increase the difficulty with removing them initially. Practice makes perfect and you should be an expert soon. Good luck!
Doesn't work for people with small mouths or big hands!
Good comment! Hadn't thought of that! Have you found a way that works better? We always love new ideas for coaching our patients. Thanks!
