- After being defeated by the Germans in the Weltkrieg, the French Republic has been exiled out of their homeland of France by the Commune of France, an upstart syndicalist, socialist state. Now, forced to live in their African colonies, the French Republic is in a unstable position. The inability to form a lasting government has caused even further instability and the situation is worsening with the tensions between the exiles, colonists and the native population. The "Lion of Verdun", Philippe Petain and the army have stepped in, declaring a state of emergency and effectively forming a Junta and abandoning French democratic principles. Although the French Republic still existing on paper, who knows what will happen next?
This is where Tommy and you guys step in. It's time to decide what path will this French Republic take and how will it take back its homeland of France.
It is time for the Operation Vive la France to begin, it is time to wage a long battle against all the enemies of the French State and it's time to show the world once again why TommyKay is the best HOI4 player in the world. It has been great. Half year ago when playing as Commune of France I had the same struggle against Austria, but making naval invasion with tanks, which encircled whole austrian army, was a great experience. I'm so happy that I could pay back Tommy on stream with makeshift bridges, and afterwards he has done the same huge encirclement, so happy peepoHeart
