Wonderful trip to Ucluelet aquarium on Vancouver Island. You showcased it perfectly. So many great displays and views. Very educational and enjoyable to watch. Excellent share friend 👍
I love that they release them! And they get fresh-flowing ocean water constantly, so they are being fed naturally and have all the right salt levels etc. It's a genius place, really!

Thank you so much for your extremely thoughtful comment! I'm so happy that you enjoyed the video. The aquarium is so well done, I hope lots of people go and support it. :)
Yes, the whale skeleton isn't as massive as you'd think it should be, but that's because this was a junior whale who died around 1-year-old. They think it ate something that killed it. Sad little tale, really.
Thank you so much for watching - I love a good aquarium, and the fact that this one is all about replenishing the ocean and being sustainable made it all the better. :)
Love aquariums. Great tour of this catch and release one! That star fish was huge! (I see a horror movie about it...Star Fish Sucks Human Faces...LOL.) The whale was a great ended to another fine video! 👍
7:17 cool to see a red Irish lord. They were very abundant when I was younger fishing in the gulf islands. Now are sadly mostly gone. Can still find them around Vancouver island but such a cool sight up close like that. Instantly knew what it was looking at it
It's a small aquarium, but they pack so much in! And I love that they release all the creatures after awhile too. Kind of a beautiful 'circle of life' type thing.
I have to admit I DID accidentally stick my finger in a “no touchy” pool and an anemone wrapped it’s tentacles around me, but I survived… then got yelled at by my son. LOL
Cool! I'll check it out if I ever get to Vancouver! Love aquariums! I'm not really into touching them though lol.. feels icky, but cool nonetheless.. Dang look at all that pollution.. 😡
Thanks for sharing.. Returning Support with Full View and like.. such a cool place to take the family.. Hope you and your family have a good weekend..
It's such a well-done establishment. I was happy to share it out! :)

Love knowing it's non-profit. Great vid!
Right? And that they release everything. Makes my heart happy! :) Thanks for watching!
Agreed!!
Fun educational place to learn about the underwater world.
Release time varies according to species.
I just LOVED that they release them. Most aquariums hang onto their specimens til death, but this one felt so natural.

love the touch tanks @4:12
looks like a most amazing destination !!
The touch tanks are fun because you'd imagine some creatures to feel slimy, but instead they are soft and silky. It's a really neat experience.

This looks like a great place to learn about sea creatures and I do like how they put them back after. Cute place.
I LOVED the catch-and-release aspect of this place! Very sustainable!
You look so tanned in this video! Cute aquarium too, the touch pools look fun
I do tan pretty easily in the summer but I get pale just as quickly. LOL
Very nice aquarium, and a very nice collection too. Big skeleton but actually kind of a surprise...short one

That was one of my favourites at the aquarium too! Although I struggled with its name quite a bit! LOL Sad to hear they are not abundant in the wild.
omg! thats so big..loved it
It's actually a small aquarium compared to most. But I liked the intimate feel of it. :) Thanks so much for watching!
Incredible place. Oh I need to get over there LOL

Nice place!
I agree! They have it set up really open and its easy to navigate. :)
I'm surprised they didn't have a wolf eel on display they'll take your arm clean off
I have to admit I DID accidentally stick my finger in a “no touchy” pool and an anemone wrapped it’s tentacles around me, but I survived… then got yelled at by my son. LOL

Yeah, all that plastic makes me sad. And I know I'm part of the problem but unsure how to fix it!
