I just turned 30, but I’ve been transforming my apartment into a Persian palace for years 😂🤣 rugs, candles, baskets, art, serving ware for entertaining… might have some boring basic clothes but the pink velvet hangers and coordinated closet organization system is top tier!

TK is hilarious there’s nothing anyone can say about that. However, I noticed more often some guys have so much expectation for women these days and catch attitudes when women have equal to higher expectations for them. They get defensive and now you’re a gold digger amongst other derogatory names.
This isn’t talked about enough in this patriarchal society. Let’s keep the conversation going below..
This has been talked about enough in society and it is exhausting. Men have never had much expectations for women.
If a man is outside of the home working and providing for his family for 10-12 hours each day, he shouldn’t have to tell his woman to do anything. He has the expectation that she will be an adult and do what adults should do. Do the dishes, keep the house clean, make dinner or make sure it is being arranged to be provided. Simple stuff like that. Just seeing an unkempt home is stressful. If both are working full time, have a plan to divvy up responsibilities. Women typically have less strenuous responsibilities, so it is frustrating for men to see that their end isn’t being maintained.
If you come into the relationship with proper physical fitness, the expectations is to make all efforts to remain that way. He was initially attracted to you when he met you, not what you like like +60 pounds. Go to the gym or do what you did to stay fit before you met him. A man may not every say a thing about it to his wife, but he absolutely thinks about it often. It bothers him, but he will typically keep it in because he doesn’t want to deal with the argument.
Don’t add problems without providing solutions. Stop taking away from his peace. Women statistically live longer than men. It is believed that it has to do with the stress that is put onto men mentally and/or physically throughout their lifetime. EVERY man wants to come back from work to a peaceful home. That is it. 90% of the time, being a man sucks and is miserable. Women need to stop making it worse when they are capable of absorbing the load. In my home, I deal with all of the big issues. I expect my wife to handle the small stuff and to not bother telling about it. I understand that there are things that happen that she deals with, and I generally appreciate her for all of the problems that she makes disappear without needing to inform me.
On the contrary, there are things that women expect from men in which they have no control. Women expect a man to financially provide for his family. Men do not initially hit their financial prime until typically their late thirties to late forties. There is a tiny percent of men who make extraordinary amounts at a young age, but that is highly unlikely for 98% of couples. Expectations and demands should be low until he is in his mid thirties. Even with this, women need to choose wisely and understand the probably financial peak of their prospective partner. A mailman is not going to provide a lifestyle that will have you taking week long vacations to Europe each year. A plumber will not provide a lifestyle that will put you in lavish resorts drinking thousand dollar bottles of wine and having a closet full of Gucci bags. He can only make so much money and only provide so much for the family. He doesn’t have control of that. He would love to be paid millions per year for his hard work, but it doesn’t work that way. The man is on a path and women can either get on or they can hope to find and keep someone with the path that they prefer, and understand that the “better path” comes with significantly more competition and more expectations on the woman. When I met my fiancé, his place was RATCHET 😂🤣 He and his roommate make sooooo much more money than me and drive nice cars, and his roommate dressed nice and wore great cologne, but my babe was so raggedy. All the kitchen towels were bleached and holey, none of the bathroom towels matched and they didn’t clean the tub or grout regularly.
