I appreciate the videos as always and this give away is neat'o I dig it! I'd love better pedals amen to that lol no doubt I get loose on decent bumps now and then on my ole trusty Marin.
Don’t go by the shoe sizing. Go by what you ride. I have to ride the large ones because small pedals don’t give enough support for big hits and really gnarly stuff I find. Idk just something to keep in mind
Love those pedals. I ride flats (race face Chester) these Crank Bros look like a huge step up from those. Thanks for making the contest so easy to enter!
Those pedals look nice! I use to skate so the skateboard comparassion really makes it super clear for me, I was trying to buy before the year ends a propper set flat pedals, I have those cheap stock ones which already cost me a lot of scars in the shins...
I entered, just bought a new Giant Stance 2019, it does not have pedals with it and I was actually looking at "The Stamp" series form Crank Brothers. And also my birthday is on the 15th of November (3 days before the winner is announced) This would be the best birthday ever if I won!!! GL Everyone!
Those pedals are peng , my friends Dad has tied them and loves them , would love to win these , keep up with the videos guys , superhelpful and supernice
I bought a set of these last year. Just pulling down for a service and the grease ports are impossible to open compared to the older, normal edition I also have. One of the pair was also missing an O-ring. Were these made somewhere else with poorer QC? Bit annoyed I need to buy a 20 quid refresh kit for a missing O-ring. Having said that, I love the massive size of these pedals and servicing IS very easy, in general.
Hoping to get a zesty 527 am in the next month if not i may go for the bergamont straitline worlds apart riding wise but they both stand out to me. These would go great with either.
Is concave stamp 7 worth the higher price compared to stamp 1 and does it make a difference for casual road/gravel/trail riders? Performance but not racing.
Is there any difference between macaskill edition and other colors? Or to ask it diferently, is there any difference between stamp 7 pedals exept for different colors. Im about to order and i can see wibmer edition, macaskill edition and few different colors, a small price difference between them, so i wonder should i just go with the color i like or are there diferences between them
Those pedals look quite nice indeed.. I'm a bit of a big guy 120kg 6'3" .. when I see thinner pedals such as these I do wonder if they are up to the challenge of having all my weight on them bombing down the trail? Any thoughts (besides lose weight.. blah blah.. I know I'm working on it) / suggestions for absolutely bomb proof pedals for a bigger rider?
I'm near your weight (was at your weight, but I've managed to lose a little lately) and height (6'2") and have tried a lot of different pedals. Thin pedals with conventional ball bearings will not withstand the power we have to put down. Shimano PD-MX80 pedals (old Saint, now the PD-GR500) were/are great. I have a ton of miles on them. I bent the axle on one but the hit was direct to the pedal with all my weight in a fast corner and it nearly sent me over the bars. I expect to have similar performance from the new XT platform (PD-M8040) pedal that I just tried for the first time yesterday. The XT pedal's Large platform size is almost identical to the Stamp's Large. I'm comparing the XT pedals to Stamp 3's that I just received yesterday. I chose Stamp 3's to try because I wanted the wider Q-factor (and they were on sale). The Stamp 7 pedals in the video also look promising. The Stamp 3 uses one Igus bushing and one ball bearing per pedal where the Stamp 7 uses two bushings. Igus LL-glide bearings (plastic bushings) are thin so the manufacturer can keep the axle diameter relatively large while still making a thin pedal. Straitline has been doing this for years with their DeFacto Pedal and now their AMP pedal. Both of which look good but have ridiculously small Q-factor for the size feet that come with our size.
hey thank you for the detailed reply, cheers.. ok I had been looking at the saint/xt pedals as a promising option as well as the stamp pedals..seems like I'm on the right track apparently. @@Yardstick401
@@maddingo happy to help! I hope you find the right pedals for you. Also, I've struggled with my weight for years and I know that unsolicited advise doesn't always come across well but I'm going to do it anyway because I've lost more weight easier in the past month than almost any other time in my life (12lbs in a month). Look into intermittent fasting and low carb/keto diets. I started intermittent fasting for other reasons but the weight loss has been a nice side benefit.
Thanx again.. kewl I will look into the diet /fasting stuff... it is frustratingly hard to lose weight for sure..good work dropping the 12lbs good stuff.. @@Yardstick401
Heya id love to be the one to win these absolutely sick pedals I’ve just saved up for my own enduro/trial bike and it would be amazing to ride with a pair of these one 🤙🤙 hope I win🙏🙏
Omg get this lol my neighbor got a new carbon patrol about a month ago. Been bragging about it. Yesterday he swapped out his flats for clipins and these trendy shoes. He was outside last night testing them. Dudes foot got stuck and he crashed in his driveway. The top tube hit the bumper of his car, put a huge crack and a big chunk out of the top tube of his new super bike. Ahahahaha The frame shattered like plastic or glass. Carbon.....the only material you dont need. I died laughing and he raged for like 30 minutes ahahahahahaha
Not really very nice mjs1231... We'd definitely be super upset if we damaged our new bike. Nothing wrong with wanting to test out a new bike and pedals. It surely didn't help the guy with you laughing. Be kind, we're all riders.
Don't forget to enter to win! The link is in the description ☝️
Wow! Nice prize! Those pedals would look great on my new Scout Comp! 👍👍Cheers to Gmbn Tech and Crankbrothers 🍻🍻👍👍
I'd love to have a pair of danny mac pedals but I ride on a pair of candy pedals so I guess I'll let this 1 go to a dedicated flats rider.
I appreciate the videos as always and this give away is neat'o I dig it! I'd love better pedals amen to that lol no doubt I get loose on decent bumps now and then on my ole trusty Marin.
a set of those would go well on my new fat bike
Great pedals I need a set of larger ones for my bike

Michael Marley what is your shoes size?
Love those pedals. I ride flats (race face Chester) these Crank Bros look like a huge step up from those. Thanks for making the contest so easy to enter!
I’m a size 9US / 8UK and I use the size large. Love the feel and stability of the larger pedal.
Robert Walz I’m a uk size 11 and I use small but it’s on a dirt jumper so it’s a bit different

Just bought some stamp 7s in anodized red and they are so super nice. Even if you dont win, buy some.
Thanks GMBN Tech and CB for the competition!
Right now I have HT components AE03 but the bearings are starting to go so I'm getting a set of these! Look awesome!
Love my Stamp 11's.
Just got them in May 2020 and they’re awesome! 👍

Really liked Doddy's skateboard comparison.
Just bought a 2014 anthem advanced and those peddles sure would dress it up nice hint, hint.

Holy moly I need to win these for my new Marin San Quentin hardtail this Christmas
Ive wanted a set of crank bothers pedals but could never afford them! Be sweet to get these!
Love all this info, cheers Doddy👍🏼
Oh, I was just looking to replace my dmr v6!
are they the same as the stamp 7?
I know I can’t win but if I sell my bike I can buy them!! yey😀
Then you can hang them by your old bike spot and think "oh god those would look good on a bike"
These pedals are ok until you need a replacement spindle. Good luck finding one in the Uk.
