Just so beautiful E! You did such a great job of making the floating spine look easy and doable! I've seen it made many times but the person doing it maybe was nervous and made it seem harder. You just did a great job explaining it! 1🙂
MY MIRONEY Sun Iron Hardware Door Pulls Antique Bronze Knobs Pulls Handles Jewelry Drawer Pull Ring Pack of 50. That is the thing you put charm on. I ordered some
Thank you for lovely, clear inst. of the floating spine. I am making some mini journals, hoping my grandchildren can visit soon! It's been 2 yrs.; would love to do this with them. Greetings in the midst of labor w/ folks serving in critically needy areas of the world. Grateful for you!
Eve this is such a beautiful journal - i couldn't wait to see what a floating spine was lol - i know of this as the "hidden spine" - it looks wonderful - thank you xx
Hello miss E. I’m going to have to go back I think, but I was drawn to this when I came by to watch what I’ve missed the last couple of days. The vaccine has caused a significant loss of energy. Better today. I learn so well from you. I’m so visual. And you have such a calm voice! Details are always spot on. Melina as well 😉 what is exactly “PVA GLUE?” That cover w birds is gorgeous! Yay PINK - love the large paper clips very versatile. Oh my Goodness Miss E!!! # 2 is beautiful!! I’m certain the kits are gone. However , if you have the paper collection ( perhaps some strays in the shop I’d be interested in purchasing)
I think this is my favorite of all of you projects! ...love that pocket covered with the lace mesh! The whole journal is really beautiful! I've watched each step (signatures all the way to completion)... absolutely beautiful!
Hello E, this has been a fantastic series leading to this beautiful floating journal. You did a great job!!! I'm definitely going to make one, even if I'm sort of new to junk journals. Thank you so much for sharing, it's been a pleasure to watch your tutorials 😊
I love the way you give detailed instruction, it is so easy to follow you! I like your journal and how much space it has to grow. Love the front pocket and board. Can't wait to see more.
Thank you so much for this beautiful tutorial. That front pocket could easily be the prettiest pocket I have ever seen! I love everything you do and listening to your sweet voice as I drink my coffee in the morning makes for the great start of a day. I am trying so hard to get my journals sold on my Etsy page and watching you as an inspiration. Blessings and hugs, Cathi NanasMessyDesk
This is an excellent video showing how to attach a floating spine. I’ve been wanting to try that. Cutting the inside cover paper the wrong way was a happy accident. It looks great vertically. I love this journal! Thank you for all that you have taught me. ❤️ Shirley
I really enjoyed the tutorial. I’ve done similar in the past but had to add a lot more steps to make it sturdy. Alice in Wonderland is my next one… can’t wait!!
Hello, thank you for this video.I enjoy coming here when I can to learn, things I dont know.I always wondered how this was done. Thanks again I will give it a go..💜
I enjoyed watching start to finish. Besides not seeing the signatures sewn on the outside of the spine when finished, are there any other benefits of constructing and using a floating spine instead of using the pamphlet stitch? Curious minds want to know, lol. TYFS, Donna, in California.

Please, can you explain why you and others put book pages and ledger pages in your signatures? In my mind it seems you can't write on them because they are not blank. Please clear up my confusion please please!! Thank you and thank you for sharing what your craft. I enjoy creating along with you. God bless.
