Mine too, mine are 35, 33, 31 then the wives and hubby’s, I have 5 grand babies under 3 and my partner, my mum, so yeah any reason gift giving is fun xx

I have to admit I was not a fan of how loud Holly and the love birds can be but I am a changed woman! I wonder if some of us need to get through an age or stage to appreciate life? As always, I really enjoyed your tutorials. A treat to see a journal from start to finish. I'm still struggling to get a journal put together correctly. I'm still making mistakes. (i.e. signatures upside down, covers coming apart after being finished.) I won't give up, still trying with your encouragement from your tutorials! Fun to see Sunny too!

Hi Pam! The knot you are making when tying off your stitchwork is called a "square knot" ( I learned this knot when in Girl Scouts, many, many years ago! And you stated there should be a song for making the knot. Well, while not a song, there is a little ditty: "Right over left, Left over right, makes a knot, that is strong and tight." When made just like the ditty, this knot will not come undone. I've used it for sewing, knitting and crocheting. And it does not come undone! Thanks for all you do!
This is a great video. I think along with the glue on the spline a little hot glue may help give it an immediate hold. Just a suggestion from another crafter.

Pam you are FANTASTIC!! I am making 4 junk journals for Christmas gifts and have *gasp* never done it before!! LOL!! Soooo I just jumped right in and held my breath and made up the book, front and back and after I got my signatures all together and onto the 'spine' suddenly realized I dont know how to glue them into my book!! Soooo of course off to UA-cam but still couldnt figure it out lmao.. So this morning, here I am wondering how in the world to get them in when all of a sudden your channel shows up on my "for you" page on how to make a "hidden spine" Whaaaa??? This was EXACTLY what I was looking for!!! YAAAAY!!! My project is now saved due to you and thank you soooo much for this!! I was at a total loss!! LOL!! Your silliness and just enjoying yourself has me giggling all the way thro also so thats even more fun!!! Ive always heard that if a cluttered desk is a sign of a cluttered mind, what then, is an empty desk??? I prefer my desks always to stay messy!!

I have started my junk journals, and am in the process of decorating the covers - one for me and one for my dear friend - and will be filling them with mementos of our trip to Ireland. I knew I wanted to make something very unique and interesting to incorporate all the ticket stubs, museum maps, and travel brochures we collected along the way, and a junk journal is perfect.

Sunny is so calm when you hold him you couldn't hold my dog up that way unless you're sitting down he's so nervous when you pick him up. Our furbaby's okay is unless he's flipped on his back then he wiggles.🤗🐞🥰

These videos are very helpful, thank you. But note, you were 5 minutes into the second video before you actually showed us how to bind. And then you sped through the actual part of the video about binding. Maybe a little less up front stuff and focus on the binding part.
