Thank you so much for all your time and effort making these videos. We were feeling for you when things didn't go as smoothly as they might have. Reminds me of the stress we had when first repairing a fancy automatic coffee machine. Hoover made a truly remarkable machine in the DAM. 👍
Steve, I know you really didn’t want to do this but I kept bugging you. All I can say is THANK YOU 🙏 I have learned so much from this course of Steve’s vacuum collage it’s unreal. Thank you. 😊
Steve, I have a Power Drive DAM from 1976, bought at a local thrift store...I had to take it apart and replace the light socket and then change the two belts.....Just changing out the belts caused me to weave such a tapestry of profanity that, thank goodness, my dear sweet Devout Mum was well away from me upstairs!!!🤪🤣
I remember working on one of these iconic machines back in the eighties, replacing a burnt out armature. You are right, they are a bitch to get apart and even more so, back together but oh what a joy to be able to handle one of the most beautiful vacuums of all times (in my opinion) and to see, hear and feel it working. Well done you.
Steve as one of your subscribers i notice in the background of your studio you have a few cleaners that I love namely the Hoover convertibles . If you were ever going to sell one could I be considered . Obviously I want the English version not the dial a matic anyway thought I would ask as you never know . Thanks . John Ash

Wonderful job Steve! It's amazing how much vacuum cleaners have changed since this time. Please keep up the fantastic work!
