"What's the point?" Hey there's a reason almost everything used to get a GBA port. It's easy to forget now that we're well into the era of cloud saves, PC gaming being more accessible and mainstream, phones on curve with the Xbox360, and consoles with their own built in screens, but back in the 2000s it was a big deal having video games that weren't tied to the family room TV and contingent on nobody else using it at the moment. Today handheld demakes are more of a curiosity, but back then they were boredom insurance and it was good to have a variety of genres even if they didn't work quite as well in 2D.
That’s all that matters. If a game is advertising itself as a continuation of a dying (at the time) series, and it just does not works anything like how the fans grew up loving, then it will always be a terrible game. Sure, it’s a technically fine game, but I will always hate it for this reason
Completely agree, they should've advertise it as a spin off not sequel but when it's so different from the original just make it a new game instead, that's how we got Devil May Cry.
I really like Grunty’s Revenge ! Kind of surprised a remake of this game hasn’t been made fingers crossed it will ! Probably won’t happen just wishful thinking !
I remember seeing the cart at a store and being surprised it existed so I bought it and took it home and proceeded to 100% it that same day. I was surprised it was that short. I enjoyed myself while playing it but was just happy I didn't play the full $30 for it.
Love your videos but, I'm going to have to leave some feedback. (sorry that my first comment is negative). You're boosting your audio too much and it's making the audio peak a bit. You need to record at a lower volume and look into how to normalise / level out your audio better in post. If you're using Audacity there's a lot of tutorials about how to make your audio better.
One thing that helps me with audio mixing is by testing the sound of the video on different speaker devices, or even a pair of headphones. I use youcut to make my videos, it helps alot
I played it on an emulator years ago and it was definitely worth it. It kept a lot of the charm in a portable package. Very limited with what it could do but still very impressive they were able to build a fairly large overworld and levels into the GBA. Nothing like the 3D games but it was still a fun and unique experience, albeit short and inferior. But I mean, it had everything there tbh. Everything that could fit and run on a GBA. We already knew what Rare was capable of on the N64 and this game was just looked down upon because of that. Kinda unfair
Personally, I like gruntys revenge alot. I like the first two games, but revenge was my favorite that I go back to every so often. Not a fan of nuts and bolts tho.

How is your channel this underrated? I can't believe it. I hope you'll blow up in the algorithm soon this is good stuff!
Cheers mate!
Nuts & Bolts was a good game. It was a horrible Banjo-Kazooie game, however.

Needed more platforming in N&B I wonder if you could even beat a challenge with out a vehicle

In my mind it was a lot better

Way better than nuts& bolts though😊

Note to self: Scout out the Jinjo statue asap so I don't spend the rest of the level going "Why am I missing 5 notes?"
Very useful info. I wish I had it at the time, would’ve saved me a lot of trouble
This is the Banjo game i played the most looking back... and actually there's another one for you to review, and it's Banjo Pilot.
I never played this game so I can comment on it. But what are your thoughts on Yooka Laylee? It's a spiritual successor to Banjo Kazooie
I’m aware of Yooka-Laylee but I’ve not actually tried it. I’ve heard it’s pretty decent so I might give it a whirl one day
honey wake up torran2glitchy uploaded a new Kanjo-Bazooie video

Dude, it's on GBA.
Why play it just to say you have. Why did you make it, to show you how mumbo cheated in the poker game.
Shit talked tooie? Disliked
