Love winnie,is she a bay rabicano? Bc of her tail and tummy, shes gorg,im a sucker for buckskins and bays, especially seal bays,so wilma is 💯 for me shes so gorg❤❤❤
@@Elsie_Eq3I feel like we as equestrians see spurs that ARENT sharp spinning circles and say they’re dull. It doesn’t matter if they’re dull, you really don’t need spurs for showjumping. It’s such a hazard and irresponsible considering the fall and accident rate is much higher, I’ll stand by this till the day I die.
@GenieCobalt I don't need spurs on my pony as she's in the process of being backed/trained, but if Meg needs to wear spurs on winnie she will, you don't know winnie or how she responds to leg so you can't judge off a 5 second video!
@@Elsie_Eq3 I don’t know Winnie but I do know for a fact how spurs work and that you don’t need them for showjumping. They are to refine aids, but in showjumping you’re only needing to dramatically slowdown and speed up if anything. Megs seat before the jump isn’t great, due to Winnie not being confident, a horse like this doesn’t need spurs. It’s irresponsible as a 4* eventer. None of my horses ever need spurs, I have no issue with spurs and ride many clients horses with spurs since that’s how they prefer their horse to be trained, but never jumping.. and certainly not with the spur facing up.
Oops! My horse did that a while ago but over a meter jump! I was on her neck about to fall, but then she saved me by putting her head up and stopping!!
@MissJools11 doubtful. She doesn't have the grey goggles. Also, with how old she is, she should have greyed out much more quickly than what she has. Even if she only has one grey gene as opposed to 2, she should be much greyer. Take a look at a few genetic websites which provide images as examples. It'll help you understand better.
@Elsie_Eq3 like I said above, she should have greyed out a hell of a lot more than what she has if she were grey. Until a genetic test for grey is done, no one will know for definite. But like I said, even with a single grey gene, they've mostly gone grey by 7, and she should be looking like a dark rose grey colour. And nearly all single grey gene horses have turned fully grey by the age of ten. That includes the black markings in bays, they are just a darker grey colour. A lot of double grey gene horses start turning grey by 6 months to a year. So like I said, she's a beautiful bay roan.
Idk about this or if its just me but Can yall see the White im her fur i think shes Maybe i could be very wrong but Maybe she Will turn into a Grey a horse at my stables also has that and shes gonna turn into a Grey so yeah! Btw Winnie is so cute!❤
Wow you say those overjumps so well!! Winnie is adorable!! I hope you had a great day, made lots of memories and most importantly had fun!
